Bit of news about this, it's "engaging with insolvency advisers and is anticipated to be shortly placed into liquidation". So Argo might have to go back to the drawing board on sale of those non-core assets 🥴. Another great Wall legacy, they put $10m into this.

Yeah in the long term the bullish case for btc becoming a proper asset seems a total no brainer. Considering how in grand scheme it's still tiny now, not even 1% equivalent of global listed equities. Then taking into account estimates for total global wealth, if it ever reached 1% of that we'd still see it ~5 bag from here. Demographics should help things along, as rich boomers die out, we're sure to see more capital allocated towards crypto from next generations.

That timing seems very specific, usually we'd need a preceding event for full crash, but can certainly see a pullback sometime when us mega caps so toppy now.

Those poor quality JPGs at least helping our miner fees, must admit though I thought NFTs crashed and burned that badly in 2022 they'd never have any kind of significance again. This is the hardest part, knowing when to exit. I can see the logic in planning to get out in a pre-halving peak, the hype of these things rarely lives up to reality. Plus makes sense when miner economics will be for the most part pretty screwed afterwards. But still feels bit too early to me with all the catalysts we have coming up, I'd to see a good bit of proper mania first.

Mara is totally smashing it, the $20 resistance that defeated us in July torn through like it was nothing! On first read this buy looks very smart, for the sites to be up and running straight away doing away with the usual dragging lead times. Plus that 50EH target, will very difficult for any other listed miner to come anywhere close to that.

Must be, when you look at their accounts they've set aside pretty huge sums to cover hacking. Helps the award given today low at £140,600, so legal costs will make up vast majority of expense.

It's not ideal having a judge rule hacking took place, but the key thing imo is that with award being low will now encourage others to settle.

These shares aren't related to reducing debt, they're part of the employee scheme, no funds are generated from it.

I would start with the bitcoin whitepaper. If you are looking at it from an investment point of view, don't take anything you see on youtube seriously, in the same way you wouldn't use youtube for regular financial advice. This field is unfortunately rife with scammers. Definitely keep your cynical hat on, be wary of anyone pumping altcoins, most of them are ponzis. Good luck.

CLSK has had such a run started to wonder if it may be looking a bit toppy, will still yolo hold regardless, but interestingly given its recent outperformance on the year to date it's effectively level with Mara gains (both about +355% currently). In that context the dramatic re-rate looks pretty rational. Ultimately can see it taking Riot's place behind Mara as #2 market cap.

It was a real clanger today to give notice of a raise in advance without specific details or timeframe. Renders it pretty much uninvestable in the meantime when market assumes a discount is on horizon. Every other firm raising uses an accelerated bookbuild type process to get it done and dusted as soon as possible for good reason.

Good point, a pivot might be one way for him to save day here. Even if they had cash they're a bit late in the cycle now to be buying hardware now so it's possible even with hands tied they've made a conscious decision to sit out this run because of some grand plan.

Possible also that's giving CEO too much credit but he must have an eye on strategy change because with Galaxy deal expiring by the end of next year, the decision continue mining won't be in their hands anymore.

The one saving grace for raise here is CEO having so much skin in the game, discounting will impact him more than it will other shareholders. Having put prospect out there out there they now need to do it as quickly as possible to stop the bleeding. Again we don't see nearly enough urgency from management but at least they're finally talking about cutting costs.
