Surprised at the radio silence, I would expect something, just as a sop for the wavering share holders, especially as this is on the main market and not and AIM share.
Has anyone except the CEG BoD made any money from holding this share? Ever since I have been reading this Message Board, the Co have been diluting or asking for more cash. I can't believe that anyone would invest here after Percy faled.
Yes for sure, when Leo jumped ship ;-) that was the biggest red flag ever and like everyone else that ignored it, I shouldn't have. I definitely should have had the sense, at the time, to sell half of what I have and left the rest in as a gamble.
But this is AIM and I knew the risks. Am I ****ed off, maybe, probably as much at myself as at the board. I am still learning the lessons that life offers up. Thank goodness for Dev Clever.
Sometimes we think we know more than someone and then they comeback and display that they are knowledgeable too.
On advising a recently promoted Web site administrator for a major football club why his site was running extremely slowly after they had thrown money at it in attempts to remedy, I remember his response;
" You must have been given my first computer for Christmas."
He didn't last long in his job and I said no more about it to him. I.T. is what I did for one of the largest Telcos in the world.
Just a reminder that this time 2 years ago this was around 1p- 2p, this time last year Dev was around the 7p mark. Now @30p many people have already made a nice profit. I don't blame anyone for banking a bit.
Personally I have great hopes for Dev in the coming year(s)
I am relatively new to investing in AIM. I learned a lot here, like how to turn 20k into 20quid.
BPC was always a gamble,by the time that I bought in.
A single shot drill that missed.
Do I think that the board did as well as they should have? No. Did I learn that in AIM don’t believe the CEO’s optimism . Yes.
But the sign was there, a huge sign, when Koot left during the drill. That was when I let greed take over my better judgement.i ignored that alarm bell, but past is past.
Anyway luckily still have a very positive portfolio. Will stay with what I know in future as Alan Sugar would say.
That’s life GLA
MAJW and Meta
I am invested in this share because of the Tech, since the first week it listed, after a career in IT. In my penultimate contract I sat quietly amused while some of the Support staff sat with headsets on, looking around the virtual room with excitement, to us without headsets they looked like nodding lunatics. To add, I have averaged down in 2019 and 2020 so that this is already a big multi bagger for me.
I was merely trying to explain or shall I say offer a contributory factor of the draw back in price in this quarter.
Anything to do with remote working and remote Ed has had a huge boost because of lockdowns. But as we now hopefully put those behind us any Tech in that sector will surely feel the impact? In the case of Dev, Temporary we all hope.
As for Meta, yes pretty up to date with that and have added a smattering of Crypt currency to the portfolio this last few years because I have an idea that it will be spent in great amounts in the metaverse , amongst other uses. Of course DYOR
Thanks again both of you.
Maybe as the social effects of the Pandemic wains and people go back to work places and schools, the hunger to buy shares in anything to do with remote working or education is less attractive ?
It could certainly explain why the price is going South.
