@BrynJon ha ha, yep.
my bags are full, from what Incan afford, but I might have had a go with my credit card with that kind of offer :-) on the table
@Telemachus, BPC tried to sell a tranch of shares to PI’s at the end of 2019 but the offer was undersubscribed, I think that the board would have been wary of doing so again in case they came up short for the second time

Happy New Year everyone.
I am a novice in AIM shares, only started investing 3 years ago and have found the ups and downs of this share a real lesson.
I am very appreciative to all those genuine posters that neither ramp nor de-ramp as a matter of course, they appear to find a true path, given that there is only so much any of us can know.
Really still don't understand the Cerp deal, it's just left all that were holders here before May with a diluted holding.
Don't understand the dilutions since either, seeing as we were told that we fully funded to drill in April.
But But But - lets all hope for a successful exploratory drill result and a better 2021 than 2020.
Again Happy and prosperous new year to all.
All I know is that lots of unfortunate things have effected the SP recently, just as the SP should be going North on news of an imminent Spud
A tree hugger ship moors close to the Las Palmas port where Ice Max is docked for refit.
A Bahama's PM is suddenly reported as voicing that he is against Oil Drilling
A QC appears questioning validity of Environmental Agreements
Local conservationists are reported as ready to protest
An arguably expensive (considering Cerp was supposed mitigate expensive money raises) funding agreement occurs right on the Spud dates.
It's almost like an orchestrated effort has happened in order to suppress the SP (Of course I am not alleging anything of the sort)
I guess if Oil is found, the lower SP would be very helpful to a huge Oiler wouldn't it?
How fortuitous
Funny how things happen in life.
Not an expert in drill ships, but aren’t drill ships supposed to be able to stop operation, sail out of reach of a storm, then go back to the drill location and continue as before?
@PageofCups
I hate it when I discover some gas on the way down, it's soo off putting
As I said in the last 150 years, and generalised a smidge about all being invaded, but my point was merely that the experience of mainland Europeans vs Island nation Brits has made attitudes and perspectives different.
Yes I do know of the list of invaders of Britain, although the Normans were French speakers but more Viking than French (Norsemen)
@DutchStanton.
I have worked in 4 different eu countries. One thing is clear. The Mainland Europeans have as a majority lived under dictatorships in the last 150 years. All have been invaded.
It gives the mainland European a completely different attitude to the British.
Indeed, many southern Europeans do resent the Anglo Saxons, which includes Germanic North Industrial regions.
It’s not so homogenous.
@sharescare
Although I voted remain, I think that it’s incredibly important to accept the result of a very fair election.
UK voted leave so we leave. I have no hard feelings. That is how a good democracy works.
No corrupt election counts and the losers endorse the winners.
I voted Remain myself, at my age I didn't want the chance of it going pear shaped and having to take 20 years to regain some wealth.
But have met Dutch people that envy the UK having left the EU.

@ShareScare
You posted "Besides Potter has already stated he would do 50/50 with them if need be."
But I think IMHO, that up to 50/50 has already been agreed depending on production and costs?
@ShareScare - If Potter has said that, can you provide a link to the source?
@willibob3
"Could our BOD achieved todays RNS without such dilution? I'm not sure."
Just IMHO re your question above,
If BPC were funded and ready to Spud in April 2020, as the board said, then they didn't need to purchase Cerp, thus diluting by a huge amount.
That said the board chose a different approach than the 9 or so years policy of trying to Spud percy-1.
Personally I wish that they hadn't, as I would now be better off, but they did. Time to put that decision, if not to bed, at least for a doze in the chair while the whole thing unfolds before us.
@NellyB, I was Just answering the question. And given the additions that you say, why is the SP valued at about half it was in March 2020. Dilution.
@hantsome
Yes there has been a doubling of the shares issued between march 2020 and today.
2billion to 4billion

HarryOfD, I agree completely. If the BOD were ready to drill in three weeks circa March2020 and the share price was about 5p at that time, it’s fair to say that those that were here just for the moon shot os percy 1 have to be disappointed with the billions of shares dilution that has happened since that “march ready to drill “ position.
Those that see value in the cerp emergency parachute might be happier, I am not one of those. I wanted a big return on this investment and I don’t think that can happen now with such dilution.
