In My early days after leaving school, I took a job as an apprentice copper smith at a little old fashioned engineering works. I made parts for rare aircraft, anything from Concorde to Sopwith camels. Basically anything that was to small a run number for the British Aerospace (formerly Hawker Sidley) factory in Ham to bother to tool up for.
My old Forman and Charge hand were such brilliantly skilled men, but I found it all a bit boring. ....

I see that there is an RNS, but don't understand what it's about. Can anyone translate it into laymans terms?

Because he is playing the longer game? This share only floated 5 months ago, and is doing very well. I am 50% down, but I have every faith that in a year i will be in profit.

It's like telling a mechanic how to fix a car or a DJ what record to play, you may be right but they won't admit it. They like to be the authority on their subject. Don't be too disheartened on their reaction.

Although to be fair, on his last point about a placing, I think the same there. If there is a placing which enables the co to do better, I am comfortable with that

I am happy for to stay in this for several years. I really dont understand why people get so tetchy. We are talking penny shares. It is high risk. It is fun surely, not serious investing? I mean if you stuck a grand in this 5 years ago, where are you now? I am a newby, i don't mean to be antagonistic, but it is a gamble.

It's fair to be critical of a Board as a share holder, it's your right. We should though remember that these are penny shares for a reason, it's a gambling casino, not a Savings account.

So for anyone that invested in say 50,000 shares at 10p, if they go to 27p they would be worth £13500. Not worth selling at that price?

It is a possibility?

That they will be attending the Global Investor Show in London - and demonstrating their products.
