I don't think that Oil has had it's day. Give it a cpl more years and if the CO2 apocalyptic predictions are proven to be just alarmist nonsense, then people will carry on using it as fuel. After all It flow's much nicer in pipes than coal.

Can someone actually explain what was so wrong with the IPO, such that it is suppressing the share price?
My guess is that there wasn't a requirement for initial investors to hold the shares for long enough, but as newby i am not sure?

I see that there is huge QE in the USA economy at the moment, predicted to continue into October. It just may be that BPC have just gone looking for money at an unlucky time.

I went to Skiathos in 2017. Stayed in a Hotel across the Bay from the Town. Yep a lovely island. My preference is Crete, Near Agios Nikolaos is very pretty and gives access to North and South of the island.

Spain is such a beautiful country away from the Kiss-me-quick crowd (that to be fair Spain has encouraged and earned a fortune off of).
I love 5 star holidays, but more so enjoy the simple way of authentic Greece and Spain.

I saw a program about that period regarding the deal to get UK Oil reserves in back in the 70's
It went like this..... The UK was on its knees in the 70's and the chance of becoming an Oil producer was the only way to change the economy for the better in a short time.
Trouble was UK didn't have the ability to bring Oil ashore in a quick enough time frame, so did deals with US Oilers to do it. Unfortunately the sick man of Europe had no bargaining power so the deals were superb for the Oil companies but not for the UK govt/People.
Enough Oil was there to revive the UK economy and give the Oiler's huge huge profits, but the UK did not get as much wealth from the Oil reserves as say Norway managed to do with theirs.

That's a Lovely story gell. My Wife’s Uncle was rear gunner in Lancasters. He survived the war, died about 10 years ago. Her dad (his brother) now has a bunch of his medals from surviving so many tours. He is going to pass them to our son in his will.

So as I explained a month or two ago, I know nothing about shares and just played "pin the tail on Donkey" to come up with 4 stick to invest in as a bit of fun but also as a way of learning about stock markets. One of those that I bought is BPC. I put £1000 into each of my choices. I got in to BPC at 1.7p. So my question for the more experienced folks on here:-With a company of this size, how high could this share price go if Oil is found in the amounts that has been suggested are in their bit of the Bahamas that they have permission to drill in?
