Hi All, I thought I would just flag this in case any of you are not aware. You can offset your losses against your income tax, so theoretically you could wipe out your income tax for the year. I have lost more than my tax for the year, but at least it is some money back!
You got more than me - I didn't get any response.
That is why I think there is a case for negligence on the part of the current Board
The figure JC told me he had offered was not too far away from that number - and I believe the rest could be raised through a rights issue which he has also asked for
Is there any way we can petition the court to take our viewpoint and position into account? I mean in terms of trying to save the company with JC?
I don't know if he holds unsecured bonds, but at this point as far as I can see we have nothing to lose.
JC has been trying to reach the Board with a proposal, and significant funding, but they are not responding to his communications! Totally negligent! There must be some entity that can come down on the current Board like a tonne of bricks!?!
450,000 on my part - although I bought at the peak, so that is around 50 grand! I believe some significant shareholders have expressed their potential support for a rights issue (should the right elements be in place to make it a success). There is a feeling that the Board are dragging their feet on the EGM in order to sell off the assets and make any recovery unviable. I am not sure who else we can copy in to try and get support as, in my opinion, the behaviour of the current leadership is bordering on criminal.
Hi All, I have been in touch with Mr. Claesson - he has tried reaching the Board but has not had any communications responded to. I suggest anyone who cares about their Shareholding write to the Board to push for an EGM date. Otherwise they may try to delay the EGM as long as possible to enable the sell off of assets with no return to Shareholders. I copied the regulator on my email too, complaining about the state of their Shareholder comms. aimregulation@londonstockexchange.com and I believe the Board email addresses are rickmccullough@nighthawkenergy.com chuckwilson@nighthawkenergy.com stuarteaton@nighthawkenergy.com
What are his contact details? I would like to do the same! We will have someone leading the company with significant skin in the game. I can't believe this is such a flame out with such promising reserves and opportunity. I'm 50 grand in which is huge for me - this was my big one - I believed in it so much - maybe JC can lure Guttering back and he can work his magic again - would be worth paying top dollar for it.
449,840 is my holding - I am well-up for going after them. I think it is disgusting - I don't understand how so much momentum was built under Gutteridge and how this can have happened so quickly I don't get it!
True - just feel like Rick has been sat with his cigar and bourbon, treating this more like a toy than a promising business. Where is Stephen, he at the very least understands the importance of communication. Perhaps the money would come from Rick himself - personal culpability? Breach of duty?
Is anyone else of the opinion that there is a serious breach of duty by the current Chairman. There was so much momentum before Stephen Gutteridge left. I have lost a serious amount of money and have seen no strategic efforts being made - just a constantly declining production rate - this financing issue has been there for a while, and yet we have seen ZERO proactive initiatives (other then the disappointing waterflood move). Has anyone else been thinking there is a class action case here? I'm about 50,000 down.
