You used to be able to google any company's share price and get a chart. Now you can't. That's across the board, not specific to EUA.

This is excellent news. We are able to benefit from the project in the long term without any dilution or further cost. Absolutely free ride. Our partners are obligated to fork out at least £600K instead of us (apart from the $50K to us). As such it's way better than a divestment imo and exactly what we were hoping for.

More important is that we now have a concrete example of Naheed taking a project from start to finish. Not that I ever thought she couldn't, but it's one more thing the bashers can no longer claim. This one was small. The next one is way bigger.

Farmout the small side project and work on finalising the EPCF on the big project (where we will not be giving away anything like 80%). Good stuff.

"commissioned" means built and ready to go. Obviously that's not happening in June 2023 so the report is wrong. How they've got something so basic wrong is a mystery, but not one that I'm willing to spend $150 to solve.

It is expensive, but maybe worth buying considering the potential gains here.

Or maybe just wait 2 months and see if they were right.

Another interesting comparison is to the nam theun 2 hydropower project.
That had a DFS published in 2010 which gave NPV of $1.8Bn.
Capex was about $1.3Bn.
The vast majority was financed by loan facilities from the World Bank; the French Development Agency; the European Investment Bank (EIB); export credit agencies from France, Norway, Sweden, and Thailand; and a group of commercial banks.
It's a JV between a power company in Thailand, the government, and EDF, with EDF taking only 40%.

Most business are like this. Take your local corner shop. It doesn't own the newspapers, doesn't hold any intellectual property, doesn't hold any exclusive rights to operate corner shops. Nor does it have exclusivity over the newspapers. It doesn't own any media, chocolate factory or anything like that.
Therefore, as things stand, it is reasonable to ask why would any bank fork out £100K for a small business loan, and allow the owner to retain half of that..............

LW, I'm sorry but from your question you don't seem to understand what an EPCF is or what the partner brings to the table.

Do you have this question every time a bank lends a company money? "Why would a bank fork over £x and allow the company to keep its equity?" Frankly that's quite a silly thing to say.

Which is why the answer to my question of any EPCF partner taking 80% of the project is that you have never come across such an arrangement because it doesn't happen. That's the reality.

Re the share price, the old adage remains true "the company is not the stock." The whole point of being here is to recognise value before the market does by judging not what the company has now, but what they will have in a few years.
