The thing is, Tricky, you keep saying that ppl should listen to reasonable arguments from both sides, yet you ignored my reasonable message from an hour or so ago, and you have ignored many of my messages over the last few months, even when I have asked you specifically to please explain your position. Whenever I have followed up a negative post with actual questions, trying to understand where they were coming from, I have got childish responses back. I can only conclude from that they don't have any answers to my questions but refuse to listen to the positive side. Why is that, I wonder?

TDT, I don't believe they had an alternative back then. Operating cash flow was negative £728,649. They needed the cash.

This year I believe will be very different. I expect to see negative operating cash flow for 2019 (what's done is done) but a very positive operating cash flow for 2020 with much more revenue from WK.

I feel for you that your shares got diluted. But back then it looked inevitable. Right now it would defy logic to dilute.

9IN, perhaps the problem is because there’s a rival bid. EUA don’t want to RNS progress with citic because that would harm negotiations with the other bidder/s.

If that were the case, EUA would not have to RNS anything at this point. They would only RNS an offer if/when it came through.

Fred, first of all, nomad is responsibly to check the RNSs before they go out. Not after.

Second, if they needed to clear something up they would just do it, not suspend. Eg when they RNSed that engagement letters had no been signed last November.

They would not have to inform the market of an offer if it was too low. It’s also more likely than discussions are happening in the background, not that an offer has been made. They would certainly not RNS such negotiations. They might include in an RNS that negotiations were happening (as they indeed did).

Suspension often does happen before an M&A. Not always but it does happen. It seems likely to me that some ppl got inside information which gave then an unfair advantage in the market. Hence the suspension can’t be ended until everyone knows the info. If it’s an offer, they would have to wait until an actual offer was made before releasing an RNS and then ending suspension.

Let me just get this straight, Fred. First you say there’s no evidence of a sale, then you suggest that the bod have been lying and nomad is resigning. Please provide any evidence of that

Just for the heck of it:

NAP sold for about £600M with 2.32M oz of Pd
EUA has 15M oz of Pd so that’s £3.88Bn
Pd prices then was about $1750, NAP costs are about $700 per oz. Now price is $2,300 per oz and our costs are $325 per oz. So £3.88Bn/1050x1975=£7.3Bn
After 10% fees = £6.57Bn
After 20% tax =£5.25Bn
EUA owns 80% = £4.2Bn
That’s about £1.68 per share

Since we don't know what's happening behind the scenes, we don't know if they can tell us anything. If you trust the BoD, I think it's fair to assume that telling us anything would be detrimental to your own position. So, better that they focus on the deal, not on impatient shareholders.
