@hairydavey I'm not suggesting that I alone am the reason for GF77 departure, but I reported quite a few of his posts yesterday. Not only were his posts tiresome, so were the posts that engaged with him, either directly or indirectly.

With regards to trolls, any attention is better than none at all, and every time someone mentioned his name, all they did was feed him.

I know filtering is an option, but that makes conversations disjointed and difficult to read, and it's not really what this BB is for anyway IMO.

No doubt my post will get swallowed up by others commenting about him, but hopefully they'll taper off.

We're all feeling positive about ITM - and we've all got good reason to.

@WelshJake - I don't think anyone can answer that, but I can see where you're coming from. If the SP were to double between now and September, I could pay my mortgage off in full. I would say that's unlikely, but as tempting as it would be, I think the SP hasn't reached the ceiling yet. You could top slice as a 'compromise', but don't forget there's an update due in the next few weeks, plus the possibility entering the FTSE 250.

I thought that until I double then triple checked.

What do Jeffries know that we don't?

Hello @Digitalis - Good morning to you too, and I also hope you're enjoying the BH. I remember those weeks well, and whilst I sold at a decent profit, I didn't stick around long enough for it to reach the dizzying heights of £7. However, my average was much higher then, so I'm quietly confident I'll do better this time round.

I'm always cautious when people mention what they think the SP will be and when that will occur if there isn't much to back it up. Sometimes I see posts which read as though a number has been plucked out of thin air, especially if that share has been doing much better than expected. I try not to get carried away with it, which is hard to do I must admit.

@Digitalis I asked about the £4 prediction because I couldn't find any evidence of it. I know your question was aimed @Skippy1234, but personally I think £4 'incoming in weeks' is a bit ambitious, but I do think it's capable of much higher in time to come. I'm sure good news is on the way soon, just not enough to push the SP up to £4 in weeks, although 'weeks' could cover quite a period of time I guess!

@SavvyInvestor - where's the £4 prediction from? I couldn't see it in the article

Don't forget there is also the possibility of entering the FTSE 250, and we might even hear something about that as early as next month

Nevertheless, my point still stands. People need to stop panicking - nothing bad has happened! Imagine if today was the first time you'd checked the price in about 3 weeks. You certainly wouldn't be feeling negative then.

@Goldfinger77 Your posts come across as sounding a little worried, and I really don't think any of need to be, as we're not shorters. It's easy to get into the habit of expecting a SP to do nothing but rise, but that's unrealistic. I very much doubt that price has dropped as low as it has for as long as it has to make investors worry. If the last 2 weeks or so is causing investors to worry, then chances are they're checking the SP far too often. If anything, it's an opportunity for some to buy.

@Artgasm - you're right about the demise of fossil fuels being predicted many times over the years. I think it's good to question whether or not this time will be any different, it's easy to get carried away when we have good news and strong rise in the SP.

However for me, a big difference here is that we have had 2 massive global events in the space of just 4 years which is having a huge impact on fuel prices, and therefore the general cost of living. These events are now running alongside side each other, and nobody knows how long they will last for, or what the end will look like. I genuinely believe that these 2 events alone have given Europe in particular a much needed a long overdue kick up the a*se.

@IKFA - This board is a friendly one compared to many others, please don't spoil it by insulting folk.

I think most people here would have invested more than they have already if it was an option. Life throws us all a curveball sometimes and priorities change.

I don't know when goldfinger invested, but the SP has been considerably higher than his average.

Fingers crossed he will do more than break even. I think most of us are confident he will.

@goldfinger , I asked this price on Saturday, and people didn't really post figures.

My ideal would be to top slice enough to pay off my mortgage come September, and keep the rest invested for much longer. Being mortgage free would leave me over £900 a month better off, and make early retirement a reality (I hope to retire in 6 years). Some seemed to think my strategy wasn't a great one, and that the price will rise much higher. I believe it will too, just not sure it will be £900 a month higher!

I topped up a little yesterday, I've never had large amounts of money in the first place, but topping up here and there for a while is money well spent IMO.

Like you I'm just curious to know, and I'm not basing my decisions on anyone else. I was just being nosey!

Just to add some context to my circumstances, following some of the replies. The reason for September is because that's when the mortgage is up for renewal, so there's no early penalty. Obviously none of us know what interest rates will be then, but mine is currently 1.65% so I doubt I'll get better than that.

If the SP is higher than £3.79, I'll sell what I need to clear the mortgage and keep the rest invested, as I'm confident it will do much better. HOWEVER, and I'm sorry to be the fun sponge, but it is not nailed on that this will achieve the levels of greatness that some on here seem to think. Remember this is AIM, and even though I'm hopeful we'll make it to the FTSE 250, nothing is guaranteed in the stock market. If I missed the opportunity to pay the mortgage off in full early, then I kiss goodbye to early retirement, despite my DB pension.

Just my thoughts, and I'm holding as many shares as I can, for as long as I can.

Blimey digitalis I was only asking, just like some on here have asked about what they think the SP will rise to and when.

I'm not after validation, nor am I looking to hold onto the entire lot in the hope it will rise to much higher than what I need. However if I wake up one morning and find the price has gone from 2.50 to a fiver, I'm selling what I need, and keeping the rest invested.

Does anyone have an exit price in mind yet? I've mentioned before that an SP of £3.79 (ish) would mean I can pay off my mortgage come September. I wouldn't want to sell my entire holding at that price, but being mortgage free would leave us with an extra £900 per month, and there's the psychological side of being mortgage free.

So ideally a minimum of 3.79 for me, with a view to keeping some of my holding, as I now feel it can do much better than that.

What about others here?
