Being invested for as long as you have I'm not surprised you're disenchanted (that's probably putting it mildly). I think a lot of us are really frustrated by what's going on with TRX, and none of it seems to make sense - no shortage of positive news but the SP has more or less flat lined a few years ago. I'm holding, but I'm also cheesed off by the lack of progress from an SP point of view

Good news about the extension. I expect the SP to go down as usual, but it will interesting to see whether or not this attracts interest elsewhere

Must admit I haven't been keeping up to all the RNS' but good news is always welcome!

Nice to see that Mr Griffiths has increased his holding!

I could be wrong, but I don't think RFK's appointment will make much difference. I think his controversy is mainly around vaccines

Thanks Mafuta, I must admit I'm finding all these RNS' confusing. For me, I just think that TRX is in a really vulnerable position. If any companies do make an offer they're going to come in much lower than if TRX didn't sound desperate. Hopefully there will be a lot of interest and things will get competitive. Not sure what the future is like if that isn't the case. On the hand, I would imagine they have reason to believe there is genuine interest out there?

I don't understand this one much either. When you consider yesterday's RNS with the ones released today it all feels a bit cat and mouse.

But at least the SP has gone up lol

Sydney41 - that's a concern of mine too. Obviously there will have been conversations that we are not party to, but the last thing we want is to appear desperate. Hopefully more than one company will express an interest which should hopefully generate a bit of competition

I remember the charity guess too. Mine was a rather optimistic guess at around 90p if I remember rightly.

There was also news about a white label with a larger company who wanted to remain anonymous around the same time I think. Not sure what happened with that.

I just hope there is some interest out there. I'd be surprised if there wasn't though.

A bidding war would be good, although I feel 'war' might be too strong a word for TRX. To be honest, the only media speculation I've seen is us lot on here, and I don't think we have enough clout to generate an RNS!

Well my curiosity is now well and truly piqued!

Thing is, I've been waiting longer than that, but not as long as many others!

I'm seriously thinking of jumping back on board with this share, which I sold at a loss a few years ago.

The main thing that's holding me back is the selling of some assets. I do think the US election result will also affect this, so there's that as well as the AGM on the 15th.

Nevertheless I'm keeping a very close eye on this one!

TRX is starting to get on my nerves now. I don't check the price as often as I used to, and whenever I do it's just more of the same. Selling isn't an option at the moment, but hopefully that will change soon and I can start top slicing at the least

Now that it's dropped further I'm only just in profit. Every RNS has pretty much been positive since Daniel Lee took over and yet we're no better off!

I don't think I'll stay with TRX for as long as I initially planned. I think a bit of top slicing into other companies will do better for me. I'm looking at you Eurocell!

Is there a way of finding out whether these large unknown trades are sales or buys? I only have the free account here, but there's lots of activity going on trade wise.

Thanks for sharing - very positive reading. It makes me wonder if the only reason there hasn't been a re-rate is because phase 2 isn't expected to be completed until the end of next year?

I've only just started looking into ECEL, and I'm considering top slicing from some of my other shares which haven't done very much at all over the past few years despite steady progress. There looks to be a lot of movement here (unlike my current shares), and if the large trades on Friday are buys then that is very encouraging indeed. Still some reading to do, and if I do go ahead I think I'll wait until the SP drops a little (if it does). Just wanted to know whether or not some of you have a get out price in mind, and whether or not you've been ivested here for long?
