I agree 8 weeks can seem like a long time!

Although this product could be massive in poorer countries who are only just beginning to see the virus spread, we could be key to the likes of India.

I was wondering if anyone knows what the shelf life of a test kit is?

Obviously there is huge pent up demand currently, do you think this is something that governments would look to stock pile in the future incase of a future outbreak?

Except we have no idea of when the first patients where dosed at the additional 5 sites. I'm expecting no firm news for at least 2weeks.

Hopefully a few leaks by next week though.

The ramping is ridiculous. Yes we will sell lots of tests, as many as we can make to be precise. But also get real.

Would be a promising sign to see them increase there raw material purchasing it would show real confidence in their ability to transfer enquiries into deals.

Do we know a cost per test? Last RNS stated raw materials ordered for 18million tests would be nice to convert that into a potential revenue figure.

My guess is NCYT are being overlooked because of supply chain issues on a wider picture.

People want oil but it doesn't stop OPEC nations getting twitchy when new kids arrive on the block or up production.

There is a volume of testing demand out there whoever can meet that demand quickest wins. My concerns are that Novacyt might be falling behind in the race.

Certainly very concerning no new RNS's about sales to PHE it's their own backyard. In the mean time companies are stepping in and signing deals with the gvnmt.

In my experience decisions are not always rational. With the facts available to me I would back Novacyt but at the same time there is a glaring absence of an RNS's saying PHE has done the same.

As you say there are 3 tests recommended by PHE are our communications with the government as a company as effective as they should be. I have not seen anything to date that gives me confidence that they are.

So who else is in there competing for our share?

I've backed 3 shares Novacyt is one of them but I feel the gains here are slowing as the picture evolves.

Perhaps they have backed a different horse already and are awaiting trial results. GDR being plausible.

If they are back of the line with NCYT it may not be a clear cut decision as it appears to us investors.

I second earlier comments that our marketing directors attack at the government could do more damage than good.

I'm hearing similar stories here in the South West plenty of PPE and bed capacity, staff bracing themselves very much calm before the storm.

i'm not arguing that billions of tests will not be required.

I hope NCYT pick up the lions share of these but of the quoted test numbers globally to date care to hazard a guess at the % of tests by NCYT?
