Spre no. Why do you think is he right? You appear to think because he is disappointed his view hasn’t prevailed, and he has made this decision to announce what he has, as such his decision is right. As I said this is the very reason why he left the bod’s. Personally I think the company knows best and what is best for their shareholders. If you recall the bods wanted to bring redmile in. Vulpes of course didn’t. Well we all know how that worked out! The bod’s have a proven track record, without following conflicting views, and there is clearly a plan being executed. As a shareholder I support their plan just as I did their desire to bring in redmile. Vulpes haven’t left. Why? Because they are a sophisticated investor and see now the benefits. The lesson is we all can still learn something new. Especially when investing. ATB

Like Chester says odd to announce your intention on a bb at such an obvious pivotal moment. Anyway he may have already sold out as he stated himself he knew about new co some time ago and his view clearly hasn’t changed. Personally I’d prefer to back the bod’s they have got the co this far with its biggest ever market cap and clearly have sounder judgment. ATB

Is DEs holding that massive? I don’t think it is. I believe he left Bods because he didn’t agree with this very type of strategy. That strategy is only now being put in place. Sounds like teddy’s being thrown to me. Remember it’s just an opinion for which he could be wrong! Think Sclp will survive a PI saying they want to sell their relatively small holding in an orderly manner. Especially if they don’t actually sell out until trial news is in and / or SP goes well north of here. (Which is how I read his own post). ATB.

It is important all those invested in SCLP are mindful of how this company has developed and why it is now on the cusp of growing into the company envisaged and orchestrated by the current board of Directors. Personally, I could not have been happier with the progress of my investment over the years but its a shame others, obviously with somewhat soured relationships, somehow feel differently. But I suggest the current and potential value in SCLP is demonstration enough by current BODs of the right progress to date as we all wait eagerly for further news. ATB.

My comment on this is that you can license via main co. But if you partner you could effectively allow a third party to “buy in” to the subsidiary for a cash value and then progress the product in that JV co and share future revenues in accordance with % ownership.

I think it’s a JV vehicle for a deal that is probably not far off. Otherwise why set it up and sit on it to then try and put the strategy in place?

No more likely IMO that the strategy and agreement is close and needs a JV co to exist to execute. Just my view but I suspect it won’t be long before we know.

I suspect some may inject confusion and attempt sinister reasons for new subsidiary but Sclp own 100% of it and any additional shares will be issued for some kind of consideration and as such I can only see this as positive for current Sclp share owners.

Chester. It’s NOT outside. It’s a subsidiary with 1 share owned by Sclp. Ie if you own shares in Sclp you own the same value of any potential new value in this new co. As for why? Move some tech into it and enter into a JV with partner for just that tech? Whatever the reason it can’t be bad IMO. ATB.

I don't think the market really gets the technology and what is being being stated here today in this RNS. This is really significant.

AB. No more certainty than any other view. I just guess on these things but Friday is a good day for news for sclp and I think yesterdays broker news was very interesting, as I said why do they want to be in on Sclp, and lets face it we are being told news is likely before end of June anyway. It's the 18th June Friday and I have my fingers crossed as news must be due! ATB

Everything appears to be really tight here. Any sizeable sell seems to be immediately snapped up with a sizeable buy and SP being held in a tight range. Surely news is overdue? Its obviously frustrating but my guess is Friday we may get a snippet of info. Lets see. ATB

I think the appointment of Stifel has to be a very positive sign. A key question is why is a broker like Stifel interested in Scancell. They will surely bring new contacts and expertise to the party and obviously also have a significant footprint in the US. I think realisation of value in Sclp in well in motion and we are watching the process play out. Good luck all! ATB.

I'm watching closely today because I'm sat having a nice lunch in Cornwall, although the weather seems to have taken a turn for the worst.

Interesting couple of days. Looks like some selling is going on but taking small profits now could be very costly indeed. Who knows when that elusive RNS will hit and SP goes in (hopefully) a positive direction. We can but surmise!
