Yes amazing news. I'll sleep well tonight. Load on my shoulders of being over weight here has just been removed. Disappointed with the share price reaction, but think I might top up on the drop liquidating some safe assets for this also now safer asset. Now this is an investment not a gamble.

Like to keep you on your toes though. I check every morning just after 7am, and they go and announce it at 11.40am. Anyway, I'm going to sit back and enjoy the trip to first oil or a take out.

Yes me too. Only bought late yesterday the trend is your friend and up 20% already (just dipped a toe in really). Also nice to see they have a share in PL001 with their 6% of JHI. So FID here could be positive for them.

I hung my boots up earlier this year. Not out of choice. Now have a job in defence. Less money but it wasn't worth the extra to continue to go offshore. The premium simply is not enough any more. And I did not want to work in holes like Saudi and Kuwait again thankyou very much.

Thanks Harel for bringing this to the attention of the RKH board. I dipped my toe in today after giving it some thought over the weekend. Its up massively on day but still managed to be up over 3% on the last couple of hours trading. Looks like this could easily get to new ATH's soon. Few more shares in issue than 2019 but lots more news and good deals now it seems to me. Navitas seem like they really mean business.

We have 16 trading days left until the end of the year. If there is a 100% chance that FID happens this year, then we have a 6% chance of announcement tomorrow, growing to a 9% chance by 15th Dec with chances growing exponentially as we go on. Its getting pretty exciting now. Hopefully that 100% is correct. GLA.

BBHopper, I think these could spike up to 120-125 on FID announcement. I was hoping to try and sell a percentage of my holding if it spikes high enough, and I am lucky to catch it, then buy back later in the day when it comes down. This is usually what happens, and I have done some research on similar companies announcements on FID. I am no trader just a small time investor, but hoping I have learnt enough over time to make some money this time round. If they keep going up after I sell at least I will have banked some profit.

I am sure there will be ways to deactivate the esim.

They would look pretty silly saying this at this late stage update if it wasn't going to happen, and the markets would punish them for it. Acceptable if they said a delay until end of January but that's it IMO. Its game on in my book.

Annoying though why an oil company wanting to be taken seriously by global investors does not post updates in English as well as Hebrew. Most medium sized European oil companies would be posting in English.

I wondered what people's thoughts were of how much this could spike up in the minutes/hours at the opening bell after FID is announced? Say this stays around tge 75-85p range until FID. My guess is £1.05 to £1.20. Anyone thinking of selling/profit taking into it?

I would not doubt you 250 jobs/week figure. What is probably not calculated is the loss of tax from these people paying high tax to paying less tax in lower paid jobs (or retiring). I was made redundant from drilling side in July. I have luckily secured a new job in defence industry. Less pay maybe 40-45% less, but I won't be going back to the oil patch, too much uncertainty (three redundanies since 2016 and an inflation adjusted pay cut every year since 2008), and I'm almost secure for retirement anyway. Just want to buy a nice motor home, motorbike, new mountain bike and road/gravel bike without dipping into my pension and I'm set.

Its also very irritating that this loss in revenue is never reported on MSM. Never challenged by the likes of BBC or Sky news. The likes of Tesco made a fortune during lockdown, but no windfall tax for them. Sorry got onto a bit of a rant there 😬

I disagree that climate change is a scam. It's definitely real, but possibly natural (well some of it for sure), as we have been warming up since the mini ice age, and we had warmed up before from 2000 years ago until around 1300 AD. What is for sure though is that we are not in a climate "crisis". There is no crisis, this is a complete scam and made up to scare the public. Most of the warming we see in UK is benneficial to us. Warmer winters, lower heating costs, better crop yields IMO. Storms are no more severe than I remember in my 56 years. Forest fires are no more prevalent than they have ever been. Most extra flooding is to do with building in the wrong places and increasing run off, and deforestation. These could be easily rectified.

Britain’s biggest oil producer is preparing to slash its North Sea investment in half and is attacking Labour’s “punitive” windfall tax.

Harbour Energy is retreating from the UK to expand its operations overseas, with bosses confirming plans to invest just £350m in the North Sea next year.

That is compared to £750m in 2024. Harbour predicts that its UK oil production will fall by a third over the next two years to 100,000 barrels a day, down from current levels of 150,000."
