If the US gets Venezuela functioning again, and Oil and gas production gets back to peak capacity, what is this going to do to the POO? Are we going to have a decline in prices going forward 4+ years ahead? Obviously USA wants to secure sources and keep the price low, or the American consumer and voter becomes unhappy. Iran could also be on the cusp of regime change, which could end up with ended sanctions and increased oil production. At least we have FID now, so dont have worry that it will be kicked down the road. But we might not get the higher prices for crude we were hoping for.

JEBR, everyone will have the funds if they so desire. They just have to sell a proportion of their RKH shares to cover their OO entitlement (unless they sold in last couple of weeks and spent the money). I think it will be mainly people with small holdings who think the 1/49th offer is hardly worth it - small change. Also those who have just been sitting on their holdings for years and not bothering checking their accounts. I am going to oversubscribe by 5%, but think I'll be lucky to get many more than my entitlement.

Hsbilkhu, still a good price when hear of people on the ECO board still nursing losses on their share purchases from long ago. I am fighting the urge not to get greedy and over invest here.

Unfortunately I dithered and only picked ECO up at 14p. Still nearly doubled my small investment now. Thinking of adding too but feel its running a bit far on no news. Its got so much great prospects though including I think its 6.5% of PL01 (through its owneeship of JHI) next to Sealion. It has tried to take over JHI too in the past, so maybe will try again 50:50 with Navitas. Or even three way split or other fraction with RKH. Feel RKH is my safe bet now, ECO is my speculation risky bet.

For what its worth, I expect a bit of chop down as small holders sell a few shares to fund the OO. Can't see it going below 60p but what do I know. Not sure if I will sell a few RKH to fund mine or some ETF's, but its bound to have a negative effect on share price, and maybe thats why it dropped on FID announcement, FI' knowing the bigger picture. But once new shares are issued mid Jan, I believe we see a slow grind up to new ATH's and beyond.

Just keep plodding away with it, you'll get there in the end. Also just got my mums isa moved as she was paying extortionate fees for a uk fund to both fidelity and the original FI every month when the guy had not contacted her in 10 + years. I moved it to iweb, sold the funds and put it all into a S&P 500 ETF, lower fees etc. It soon stated outperforming what it had done previously.

I put a lot of stuff into gold during the pandemic , as thought inflation would rear its head. Did ok, but sold a bit early before the massive gains. Most of it transfered to RKH, so hopefully end well up in 2 years time.

Merry Christmas everyone. Just having a glass of sherry waiting a suitable time to go to bed to make sure my 10 year old does not come down to early! On and up and hopefully a slow and streaky rise in the share price 2026. Hope to make the AGM next year too.

It really isn't a drag and you should move. Your new provider will usually do a lot of the leg work. I moved my isa last year from HL to Iweb (now Scottish widows), quite easily. Now paying a lot less fees. Was in process of moving my SIPP from HL to ii when the open offer came rearing its head, so I've put that on hold in case the swap over causes problems to who owns the oo entitlement, but will be doing it in the new year. Going to be saving £35 a month on fees. Not to sniffed at.

Thanks all, have not had time to study when it will come on the platforms due to the Christmas madness of making sure every i is dotted ant t crossed as far as food goes as the shops you would think ate shut for the next 2 weeks lol. If I was working a hitch offshore I would have had ample time to see what's happening! So seems like all will be in place by 30th. I have 7k to find to cover my entitlement plus a bit more in case of untaken entitlements so not massive numbers. Probs sell a mixture of uk etfs and rkh shares to cover. Made the mistake last time of selling all my gold etfs to buy rkh in January Feb, and missed out on its big rally.

Anyone seen details on their dealing platforms yet? I was away all weekend and had left accidently left my phone in car at airport so a bit behind the curve. I dont see anything on the OO in corporate actions in either my HL SIPP or Iweb (Scottish Widows) share dealing sites as yet.

Can't see Navitas taking on 100% of risk unless they have a plan to split Sealion with another company and keep the rest of RKH assets for themselves as exploration plays.

Still would not be a bad option for us if they gave us a stock option instead if cash, as it would keep us invested in a solid growing enterprise.

You think there is a good chance it goes lower than 60p then?

I was never aware until the other day that we had the power through our UN veto to stop Argentina acquiring meaningful military weaponry. This being reversed coukd be good for the likes of British defense firms, BAE etc.

Thinking of cashing in some tracker funds Monday and putting a limit order to buy at around 61p. Could spike down to that level, especially if oil prices come down more, and there is a bit of support there.

Once the FID is fully rubber stamped you should get a notification through your share platform. Just look out for messages (usually in corporate actions), after the FID finalisation RNS.

I've resigned myself now that this is going to be a slow grind up. Not the instant retirement I had hoped. Still a great medium to longer term investment though, and I'll not be selling and taking up my OO shares, cant see any thing with a better return in next 2-3 years. Just very annoying that FID seems to have been priced in, when I felt it was anything but. If it had been a sure deal I could of at least had many better nights sleep this last few months lol.

Great video. Where do you get the open offer qualifying dates from? "In 30 day period upto 30th July 25." I could never see any statement from RKH saying what the qualifying period was.
