Awax I have taken the time to watch the video that you posted. I am not impressed by someone who proclaims his annoyance at others for name calling, mud slinging, and smear tactics, and who then goes on to do all of those things himself several times over He also goes on about the media and how they are supposedly controlled by remainers, which is frankly ridiculous as most of the media is clearly owned by very rich self serving individuals who in the main want brexit. What is particularly galling is his comments and attacks upon groups of people such as teachers. I am not going to state my opinion of the individual who posted the video as I don't want to stoop to his level.

Awax I have never said that those who voted for brexit are stupid, leg alone those who don't like beef ! nor would I. I do however believe that many of them were misled by politicians who made out that they new what we could achieve through negotiations, which clearly given the nature of any negotiation was always going to be nonsense. We are where we are and at some point the politicians will have to make a decision, as to what that decision will now be, who knows ! Good luck mate.

Awax The problem is that almost half of those that voted wanted to remain, and just over half wanted to leave, but within the leave voters there were many who voted to leave based upon things that they were told would happen such as:- 1. £350 million a week extra into the NHS 2. No divorce bill 3. We could still trade on the same basis as if we were members And many other things that have since been proven to be untrue, and then there are those that voted to leave at any cost. In your analogy the cheese and ham voters might be the leave at any cost voters and the cheese and pickle the only leave if we can have our cake and eat it voters (the 3 things above and more) I understand your argument but think you are mistaken because the percentages you applied are way out in my view they originally were more likely to be :- Leave at any cost 25% Leave if we can get our cake and eat it 26% Remain 49% BUT Now that we know the facts I believe we are more likely to get a vote that is more like:- Leave with the May deal 30% Leave with no deal 10% Remain 60% But who knows mate and let's be honest nothing that any of us post on here will make an iota of difference !

Questioner If we have another vote it will end all of the arguments, the MPs can't agree so they need to be told which of the 3 options that I mentioned earlier the public want. I am a remain voter, but, I accept that if there is another vote that the outcome may still be to leave and if that happens because that vote will have been taken when everyone knows exactly what leaving means I will personally fully back the decision, as would most others.

So, you don't think that all of the lies we were told matter ? Or that now that we know the truth, namely that we can't have our cake and eat it, that democracy would be best served by letting the people vote on the reality and not the lies ? Seethruwalls I was born in the 50s and voted remain because I realised just how bad things are likely to get for younger and future generations, including my kids. I feel sorry for the expats who voted remain but I am amazed at the expats who voted to leave ! Clearly they didn't realise the repercussions that were and are possible. I agree with your view regarding many older voters they have lived through and beniffited from the best of financial times, things going forward will not be as easy for our children. It is now clear that as I stated yesterday before the votes took place, that we need another people's vote which should be a three choice vote :- 1. Accept Mays deal Or 2. Accept a no deal brexit Or 3. Remain in the EU I know which way I will vote and I know many previous brexit voters who would now vote to remain Let's have some real democracy a vote now that the exact options are known

Oldskool Remaining will mean having enough people in the NHS for it to be able to function, remaining will mean having enough people to harvest our food from the fields, two very important things I believe. Don't get me wrong there are parts of the whole EU thing that I can't stand there is much that needs to be reformed but us leaving will not help the majority of people in this country, I have no doubt that the very rich will get even richer on the back of brexit but as per usual that will be at the expense of the working class. The lying democrats were disgusting in agreeing to allow tuition fees just to get into positions of power in a coalition with the tories, on that we totally agree. Unless you believe that £350 million will be put into the NHS every week and that no payments will be made to the EU once we leave, then you were lied to, those facts may not be the reason why you personally voted to leave but other people did bite to leave on the basis of those lies mate.

Lies are wrong, and that is exactly why now that the truth is known that people should be allowed to vote again. It is not sour grapes to want people to vote again based upon the facts.

Richshep How much extra money did boris tell everyone we would get into the NHS per week ? Didn't he say that we would have to pay the EU any more money despite the fact that we were legally obliged to do so ? As I said the voters did not know the truth now that we do let's vote either for Mays deal,, or no deal, or to stay, let the people decide that is democracy, voting once the facts are known to you not jotting having been lied too !
