It is early days with Coronavirus and things could change, however reported mortality rates at the moment are still circa 2%, so you are quite correct in stating that flu will have killed multiple times more people over winter than Coronavirus has.

Let’s all hope that it does not worsen, and that China and Iran are in fact being honest about the situation.

No Jaf, what you said was that you would post if anyone posted about you, which was a change from you wouldn’t post anymore, and now you’ve changed it again because yet again you’ve been caught out !

It’s a great thing to have in reserve, but at the moment he really must just concentrate firstly on hitting our production targets from la parilla and secondly on getting as much production as possible from Regua, once that’s done the gold is next - unless of course he can sell Sao martinho and use the cash to repay some of our debt, which might then enable us to refinance at a more reasonable rate.

It makes no sense to me that after MM said at the beginning of February that we would quickly get to 80% production, that in the last 6 weeks of The Quarter we would only get 78 tons and then only get 120 tons in April.

Somethings not right either your figures are wrong, or MM will be proven to be wrong in his statement about hitting 80% quickly.

Well, originally I took his comments with a pinch of salt, but, when MM in the first week of February said that we had done loads of fixes and would be running at 80% of production very quickly, I looked back at what boythorpe had posted and thought that he may just have been telling the truth, but, if he was telling the truth about the two shipments in January and the subsequent shipment on 17-2-20, then his guess at the 3 month production figure makes no sense.

Hence my question.

There are only a very few people who post on here who’s comments I trust, and that’s because I know them personally, I don’t know boythorpe.

Your guesstimate makes no sense, you stated on 15-1-20 that 20 tons was shipped, then on the 16-1-20 that a further 12 tons was shipped, and then on 17-2-20 that 30 tons was shipped, so that’s 62 tons upto 17-2-20, and we know that MM stated that they had spent a lot of time in those first six weeks of the quarter optimising the kit, and that he then said that we would hit 80% production very quickly.

So how can you now be saying that we will only get 120 tons for the quarter, as that would mean that we got less in the last 6 weeks of the quarter ( mid February- end March) than we got in the first 6 weeks when loads of work was being done on the kit, that makes no sense !

Please explain?

All I can say is that I wouldn’t want to be out of this over the coming weeks, months and years !

Whilst 330 tons would be great I still think that 240 tons is more realistic, given that we were told that loads of adjustments had been made through January and at the start of February, which would have meant that the kit was only operating on and off, and we know that it takes several hours to power up and restart all of the kit once it has been powered down, so we will have had a lot of down time during the first 6 weeks of the quarter.

Obviously I hope that I am underestimating our production figures and I will be happy to be proven wrong.

I’m sticking with my 240 tons for this quarter, and believe that will be enough to see a small rise in the SP - up to maybe 0.45 / 0.50
