Positive spin.......25 Aug 2015 09:32
If you want to try and place a positive spin on it, here's my take on the matter.
There are currently 398,000,000 shares in issue.
That is going to be consolidated by 100:1 so, for the mathematically challenged (me inclusive so tell me if I'm wrong) that means there will be 3,980,000 new shares currently in issue (pending the approval).
The Rns states that £1,050,000 is to be raised with Institutional and 'other investors' (typical TLY not telling us the whole story) and that means 6,000,0000 new shares will be placed. The new Sp is stated to begin at 17.5-pence (but there's always a fraction left over that private investors lose out on)
So, are you still with me?
£1,050,000 % 17.5p = 6,000,000 shares.
So, 6,000,000 news shares are to be added to the consolidated shares (3,980,000) which the new total will equal around 10,000,000 shares in issue.
And the point to my ramblings?
If Institutional and 'other investors' hold 6,000,000 shares, then that is a large holding / influence on the company with limited free float, which means it will stop any swings with the Sp (unless more shares are added to the market).
