There is absolutely nothing i can say to help soothe the pain of losing / being down £80k.

All I said when I was £30k down was; it's gone, but I have a roof over my head, a beautiful girl on my arm (she's now gone....) family, friends and my health.

Yes - I've made mistakes.

Personally. Financially! And certainly physically but, we are all human and we all make mistakes.

Be kind to yourself.

Undoubtedly, it's a princely sum of money but focus on what you have. I'm sure you're an incredibly rich man.

Mate, I feel your pain.

I was invested in LGO many years ago and had an ugly share average.

I had £30k invested, but it was worth around £3k at its lowest ebb.

I took a chance after new management came in and bought another £5k worth.

I had pretty much written off the £30k so thought "it's a new £5k and worth the risk" I was lucky and it paid off.

I managed to recoup my cash. It does not always work! Remember that!

But Fastjet has been hit really hard and the share price has plummeted far lower than where it should be.

If you have some faith in this company, a £1k investment at 0.10, and IF, it rides this storm out, I'd fail to see how 0.5 can't be reached. That x5 your £1k investment.

Of course its not the steady-ish 1.5 p it had been but you will recoup some cash.

I do not like to hear or see anyone down on their hard earned money.

Clarification;

Sadly, with the oil price depression, it actually spells good for Fastjet as (I think I read) 34% of their costs is due to fuel, but with the low fuel price, this will reduce their fuel costs long term.

I just hope they can stock up and store the fuel and use it for the long term.

I'm guessing you've not invested in the Aim market before or fully understand how this market operates.

You've got your own answer in your question.

This company consolidated by 100.

So, if you owned 1000 shares. Your holding was divided by 100, therefore, you now own 10 shares.

If you shares were worth 0.45p, they increase by 100, therefore your 10 shares are worth 4.5p per share but, as a general rule, after every consolidation that I've known, the share price always drops after consolidation.

This Sp has dropped due to that and other climate reasons - and other peeps coming on board.

I'm sorry you're down. Sadly most peeps who invest in AIM get stung with this a time or two.

As you user that the same expression when you said LGO had the 'for sale' sign up, but then it recovered and you called that same recovery a "dead cat bounce".

That said; I have my doubts over Saffron, which is part of my rationale as to why I sold up but, the company has future prospects here, and this cat may just have more lives to go.

However, this is AIM, and a high percentage of AIM companies do go to the wall so I suppose if you keep repeating that quote, you will surely be right at some point.

Some trading accounts don't update on the day of the consolidation.

They often have "n/a" next to the amount of shares they own as it hasn't been converted on that platform yet.

No one gets rich quick on AIM. Only naive investors think differently but, you can make a quick buck knowing when to invest and, that can happen when companies are turned around at times like these.

JP did wonders for SOU when he got on board. I'm not saying this company will suddenly succeed as very few on AIM do so but, money can be made when a new organisational change occurs. It all depends if you're in it for the long haul or a quick turnaround.

I sold a fair portion of my holding a few years ago, and then £10k worth about 6 weeks ago, and my final £5k this morning.

Regardless of my reasons for doing so, I still want this company to succeed and I hope you all make money here.

And that is my quandary at the moment.

My head is saying Saffron will only produce oil in the 150 region, which will have next to no material bearing on the Sp, which means the only drive northwards will be an influx of buying, and I doubt that or future drilling, but then we are back to the costs of the well V Bopd volumes.

Hargreaves Lansdown aren't providing live quotes and you have to submit a fill or kill order. I dare say if a quote was available earlier, I may have been enticed to take it.

It's only stubbornness that is preventing me from selling now (And the thought of an £8k loss).

I don't doubt you're a lovely person outside this box of the BB forum but you're one of the few people on here who have, in my opinion, deterred many folk from interacting because you have this odd cat and mouse game with Fishsheds, which means your incessant posts occupies the board.

May I make a suggestion?

Before you press that post button, ask yourself, is my message constructive to CERP (whether positive or negative) or am I posting this to continue a platitudunious thread.

It seems the CERP BB is causing a Lord of the Flies style influence.

I must admit, I've considered selling my holding. It's only worth £4k now (I'd lose almost double that if I sell) but I also see a somewhat rinse and repeat scenario.

I can't see how the share price is going to be impacted on any forthcoming news.

I absolutely agree with you. The long term benefits can be huge to a small company with a low MC.

A conservative estimate of $30 profit per barrel on 500 a day, is just show of $5.5m a year.

All I'm trying to impress on Mr Magoo is;

When, and if, the Middle Cruse Rns is released and it shows we are churning out 500Bopd, our accounts don't suddenly 'ping' to the tune of an increased market cap of that extra x amount of million dollars.

To suggest the Sp will re-rate is inferring the share price will jump up (double?).

And on the amount I've only suggested it might produce, it won't re-rate.

My words were solely meant for good intentions to Mr Magoo as my days of posting thoughts and sharing facts about this company are pretty much done due to the mindless squabbling that goes on.

I've made, and lost money, a lot of money, and i'd hate to see some folk naively thinking their dreams of becoming overnight millionaires or 'getting rich quick' in today's Aim market is the norm.

And i suspect - most on here, including me, will take a level of comfort that you're still holding, which in itself is wrong as it goes to show we blindly follow.

I hope we all make money / regain our losses, Mr Joseph. I also hope you're not the Pied Piper...
