Yep - I'm aware of the other simple well being drilled being a huge success but there is one huge factor that can dramatically change that same likelihood now - I'm invested in here and I'm keen to make good my 'investment'.

I'm that unlucky penny in a market of penny shares....

As much as we are waiting for the days to pass and the inevitable, good or bad, need to be released, equally, the days seem to slow down because there is always the dreaded fear of an Rns being released where they've encountered problems.

We've all undoubtedly gone through that scenario. So, for now, no news is good news (unless news is of forthcoming plans).

I completely agree, but all we can do is wait for the drill results / evaluation to be released.

It's this apprehension that I find worst when waiting for news.

I'd like to think the Bod have some forthcoming news they plan to release, as that can underpin our Sp, with the hope, of drill results progressing us forth.

Until then, certain folk pass the time of day by exploiting others at their financial expense.

Isn't it human nature to reach out and offer a hand to someone whose fallen or less fortunate?

Some folk on here spoke of their sadness and loss. At once, I was at an incredible loss, but I took certain chances to average myself out - which was an incredibly daring, and probably stupid, thing to do.

Others spoke of their poor luck, I could name many current posters who spoke of a similar matter, but I fear now, looking at their current posting history, they detailed their tales of woe to similar nature.

Whether I, or others on here, did right or wrong, we did it for best intentions, but I don't believe, as a humanist, it should be regurgitated on here.

You've been involved with CERP for surely as like as I, so I hope you understand our plight and solidarity together.

This isn't a shot at you, it's just a mere explanation of unity, but not one that should be exploited in a mocking fashion, such as what Fish is doing.

I wonder why you choose the CERP board to be the place where you feel the need to spread the good gospel, and save, I guess, what you believe are potentially new and gullible would be investors from the rampers nonsense?

You post on PRIM, but nothing to the same extent or opposition as you do on here. In fact, you don't post in the same, almost, vitriolic manner towards CERP, to any other company or any other poster, which is baffling in itself.

I'm down about £7k, and I fear we will drop lower to news arrives as, in my humble, blah, blah, blah, is what normally happens.

Investors get twitchy waiting for news, which mm's know, they tinker with the price, and we all fear, as time goes on, that news won't be great.

Let's hope not, and I hope we all make some money out of this slow burning company.

That said - we almost had the for sale sign up so from those bleak days, and now we have a good prospective on our doorstep, let's hope with a new management and a new CEO, we will all prosper out of this.

Many reputable oil companies (Shell) shut in wells because their CAPEX for certain wells didn't balance the books against what they were producing so they moved on - but, these wells, albeit aren't financially worthwhile to the oil giants, still offer a value to small AIM tiddlers.

Surely you know this?

And no, I can't say for any certainty how many will be reactivated but, the effort it takes to do so is minimal.

And no, due to the above, I therefore cannot give a forecast on any financial return.

I'm guessing you're being obtuse with your question, as it's one that cannot be quantified right now, which I give you credit and presume you know.

Any lowly AIM company has to make ends meet and obtain what they can for when they can - with the caveat there is a financial return.

Many oil fields have a plethora of wells that are cased and still have the opportunity of producing x amount of oil. Whether via co'2 or other means

As mentioned - these wells don't offer the average 'giant' any interest to chase (may be) 50 bopd, but to CERP, it's of huge interest as it keeps the light bulbs flickering whilst pursuing their main goal.

I appreciate you're slanted against CERP, and to me, that's fine, but if you're going to be somewhat silly with your questioning, then I'll happily decline to engage as it's difficult to educate silliness.

I certainly don't think that at all - not that I class myself as a ramper but, these old shut in wells, have an easy access to some comfortable revenue stream for a company that is almost debt free.

These wells weren't viable years ago, due to costs, oil price, and the mechanics of spending hundreds of thousands of dollars for less than a balanced return but now, tech has improved, and you'll find that with many AIM companies that have acquired these wells.

If folk think these wells are transformational that is their own fault but, for me, they add value to a fledgling company that is looking to extract oil for little investment.

I understand your view point but, times have changed, and so has well recovery.

If you don't acknowledge that then you're also of the naivety of those who think they are transformational.

I highly doubt any news will be released, whether positive or negative, before the drill is completed and assessed.

Any news potentially drip fed in during the drill (let's hope it's not a 'drip....') won't be accurate until the well is technically assessed to it's performance with pressure etc.

If it helps others, wish away for news whilst the drill bit is turning, just don't disappointed when it doesn't.
