On a Fastjet related note;

I maintain M&G will sell their entire holding. Their own fund and share accounts are in slight disarray, and they are looking at investing in more suited stocks that offer safer returns for their clients.

That to me, suggests their strategy is likely to change, especially in light of how they are struggling in this economic time.

I wouldn't say or suggest anyone should buy or sell like other 'wise' folk, but think long and hard how you think the share price will continue to react to 10m chunks of shares saturating the market. Especially if no new insti is around to take their place.

It looks like a 1% threshold is about to be crossed so expect another holdings Rns with M&G declaring their holdings.

You may not call yourself a deramper but you have more than 'one post' that certainly leans away from Fastjet.

If big players are buying a shed load of shares then they will have to release an Rns disclosing that holding.

From my limited knowledge, a large investor doesn't have to declare until they reach a minimum amount, and I have always understood (through my experience) that the starting point is 3% and then every 1% increase thereafter.

Im certainly not saying you're wrong, and may be it's a case when I've experienced new large investors buying, that they bought x amount which meant it automatically took them to 3%.

I think until a new investor (if a large insti) is mopping up the new floating shares, then we have to presume they're not.

We can't guess someone is in the background buying, but we can make presumptions if large trades are going through.

It's going to be an interesting 6 weeks until the end of July, when all should be revealed how this company performs.

I'm only basing my lowly opinion that M&G will be looking to offload all of their holding due to the turbulent times they are currently going through with suspension of certain funds due to a cash crisis.

M&G need money, and may be they would rather invest in other companies that (possibly) offer stronger returns for their investors.

Fastjet is undoubtedly a risk, and M&G have gone through new management, and as with any new management, they clear out some dead wood.

I'm not sure what I would do if I was heavily invested here, as I've got my money back and have a free carry, and I would absolutely not encourage anyone to buy or sell in any share.

That said; I have the luxury of letting this company carry on without risking my money, and we all know how hard it is to earn it.

I still hope the Fastjet part sale and new flying routes will offer a bounce at these levels, and I fail to see how those 2 huge factors won't offer a return from this level but, if M&G are offloading all of their shares then the Sp will drop further.

And, to me, that is inevitable.

When you say a "buyer" are you referring to a new insti investor?

If so, when any buyer (whether insti or private investor) crosses a certain threshold of shares bought (I believe the first stage is 3%) then their holdings has to be declared.

And then any further 1% increase has to be declared, which is the same as when any large investor sells.

It looks like M&G are going to sell their entire holding, and sadly with the late reporting of the Rns' all we can do is wait and see if any large trades go through (generally at the end of the day they get reported).

If M&G keep offloading their holding the Sp will fall below that of 0.1p.

It just depends whether the market can soak them up.

Oh dear. There has been quite a bit of inaccuracies regards the TR-1.

Not to worry.

The "going concern" now will be if they keep off loading. The murky world of AIM allows for insti investors to get a head start on buying and selling their holdings.

News needs to come fast in order to understand the company longevity, and to hopefully postpone further TR-1's being released with every percentage dropped. Unless they already know there is no news of longevity....

That said; I'm still invested. I've doubled my stake as I bought in early and now I have a free carry, but that doesn't mean I wish to lose it.

However, it would be wise to look at M&G Plc to see what is going on over there, and it seems they have just had a management change, and this has been building up for the last 2 weeks - with an announcement being made today.

And, the trading in the M&G Property Management and Feeder fund has been suspended since December 2018 due to cash restrictions, worsened by the pandemic.

The company is trying to generate liquidity as they, like most, are going through very troubling economic times, and this, may also be the source of their off loading.

There are always 2 sides, and the truth normally lies somewhere inbetween.

Well, we know Fastjet has enough cash in the piggy bank to meet its operational needs until the end of July, and then something needs to happen, whether it's a sale of Zimbabwe, a placing or flights need to resume fully and generate revenue.

This date is somewhat a milestone for me, but I'm invested and clearly see a future.

I've doubled my money in the space of 5 weeks.

I have left my other free shares to play out as this sees fit.

Please don't be concerned by my investment strategy. Sometimes I make money, and sometimes I don't. In the case of FJet, it's part paid toward my new extension.

I don't think it's game over as there was nothing to substantiate the rise - apart from a potential resume date and repatriation news.

I hope folk didn't buy on posters who say they have news but can't share it.

But equally, they shouldn't listen to "game over" comments either.

Excellent words of advice. Sadly, we will all have scare stories with AIM investing, mine comes at the value of £30k, which is peanuts to some but a princely sum to others.

There are many so called 'Knights' on here who claim to be the Pied Pied and will say they offered a trail of info along the way, but only the blind would take that path based on those words.

I think you've answered your own question.

If flights resume at the end of month, new routes begin, and costs are saved due to low fuel price, and finding / sale comes about, then I'd say the company should 'Fly'.

All in my (biased) opinion...

I appreciate it's the NOMAD but I fail to see their direction in doing so.

Rns' cost between £250-500, so why bother.

An increased share price can encourage investors and if they are looking at selling Zimbabwe FJET then it only encourages a higher price.

Oh well.
