Thx Rafafan - i have also traded LLOY over the last three years, a look back at the 1 yr chart shows previous buying opportunities - if it hits 62p i'll prob trade again. I looked to reduce my portfolio down to sub 30 shares as i found it quite a lot to keep a track on. But I did get into BAB - when it dropped out of the ftse, think it got tarred with the outsourcing sector issues, its doing very nicely for me now. i also picked up reasonable holdings in GSK and HIK on the dips. To be honest - quite a safe and boring portfolio lol. Before anyone suggests otherwise, none of the above should taken as a recommendation or advice, that's not allowed on here, these are old trades. Hi Rafafan I use H&L on a purely non sign up basis, i find its charts, news, share price info and financial diary easy to use and well set up. Don't know about level 2, though. For me its H&L for info LSE for watchlist & discussion groups Advan for discussion groups. Halifax sharedealing service for trading. Don't pay for anything,I am straight forward in my investments, 90 - 95% growth and income stocks - ftse 100 & ftse 250. 5 - 10 % in aim when i see something that looks right to me timing wise. Sorry, i cant help you with your question re level 2.

Sincero - check the 5 year graph on H&L and re visit my post. three spikes to above 3p in 5 years. Are you suggesting that the H& L chart is incorrect ? You need 3p to cover your buy trade last Dec - though that figure would be relevant to you. Don't forget there are many locked in here at 2-4p / 4-6p / 6-8p. They need big spikes to get to their break even prices. A small day rise of 10% is just the ticket for the day traders, but those under water within the above ranges need much more,if they are to get out. gla.

Sincero - I chose 3p as a spike as it is roughly double today's price. Its also roughly the price you paid for the shares you mentioned you bought towards the end of Dec.

Sincero - l looked at circa 3p ie double where we are now. Info pulled from the h&l website looking at the 5 year chart. Yes several longish posts, from me - still different than the one liners you often see on here from both rampers and re rampers, without any info or facts. Ocelot - you need to factor in that there are now 3854m shares in issue and mainly in pi's hands of course that number rises with each YA conversion. 50% of stock changing hands this summer in a single day - I'd suggest that would be unlikely. Second point - with the previous 2 spikes very few shareholders were under water, sentiment was high and it was easy to sell the hype, that regrettably is not the case this time round. You need to factor in what existing holders decide to do this summer / autumn.. Stick twist or fold ! I can see you watching the black Jack game urging the guy with16 to twist and go again - what could possibly go wrong - well any card over 5 would bust the hand. My advice would be less enthusiastic - I'd probably urge caution. But that's what makes you and I different, ( if only we could see that next card ! ). Another point - new buyers, this time round will be aware of the problems at BB and may want to see some detailed testing results before jumping in. Final point t - I was sure the oga would become during May. If it doesn't come soon the cash in bank position reported in the interims at June end r n s could come first. To me that might be a good thing. If the coffers look healthy - sentiment will rise, if not and funding looks like!ly in the shorter term new buyers may ho!d off a bit. We both agree news on ewt at HH will raise volumes and get the share out of the doldrums, surely not long to wait. Ps - I always read your posts, and genuinely respect your point of view. GLA

Ocelot - a total of three spikes in 5 years. First spike was on 27th April 2015 when it closed at 3.1p then it drifted back below 2p again over the coming weeks. Second spike was on 25th February 2016 when it hit a day high of 2.92p again it drifted back down below 2p over the coming weeks. Then we had the major hype last summer / autumn - but again it fell back to sub 2p by Feb end this year. Still not long before we get oga for HH and off we go again. But what will pi's decide to do if they reach their break even position this time round ? Until the full outcome of the EWT at HH is known at the end of the planned 7 months of phase one, to me it's a little like playing black Jack and being dealt cards the totalling 16 ! ( If only one could see the next card to be drawn ! ) Does one hold or twist - Ah human nature ! All will be revealed over coming months. Roll on testing - anything to liven things up eh. GLA

Correct Ocelot - but if he was who would he turn to for comfort / advice ? Luckily however pi's have stumped up the �26M + so far and can discuss the way forward on this board, taking into consideration all points of view. Roll on EWT at HH. GLA.

Tony - if you were the only investor here - no others - and you had stumped up �26M+ already of your own money with further �4m to come,and had no other pi's to whom you could pass on your golden tickets, at some time in the future, you may be less happy lol. You may have been asking the BOD a few more questions as to what happened at BB. Maybe you would be questioning some of the licence spending sprees - if you were the only investor and it was all your money up for grabs. I would suspect you would have everything crossed for a successful EWT at HH, particularly as SS has said he will need more money off you to take the company through to 2019. But of course that's not the case - as pi's all own a slice of this one. Still food for though though. GLA

Stocktaker - commencement of EWT at HH will almost certainly move the sp upwards, how much is another matter. At the moment volume is dead - no real selling activity and no real buying activity. Sentiment is low at the moment. Unless pi's are looking for summer spikes to get out surely the real question one should be asking is where will the sp be at the end of the 7 months EWT, and information on funding to take ukog through to 2019 and onwards. If the data at HH proves decent independent confirmed reserves / good flow rates/ low depletion rates, all will be cool - even with further funding and dilution. If the data is disappointing then - who knows. Gla

Was anyone actually expecting them to allow the licence to lapse on 30th June ? Already a large spend at BB - an extension must always have been on the cards. But it looks like the can will be kicked down the street for a while - 5 years gives plenty of flexibility. Don't get me wrong this is the right decision for BB. The key for everything going forward for ukog must be proving up HH, during the next 7 months. With proven independent reserves and commercial oil at HH ( depending on figures / flow rates / depletion expectations ) sentiment will rise and further funding will be acceptable to pi's. Without it - raising more cash will be problematic. It's all eyes on EWT at HH. How.

Insidious - thx for the full cut and paste, think it's important all pi's u derstsnd the planned phasing. Matteith -so far ukog has raised �30m + how wisely would you say it has been spent so far? Pi's have picked up say �26m of this with a further �4m to go. I accept small oilers need pi support, I invest in other aim shares. Others on here provide the balance to my posts. I will stick to the finaning - cash is king. Not long to oga - then maybe 6 - 8 weeks perhaps, for an initial r n s on EWT. Think Eddie suggested from the AGM that several were promised during phase 1. Hopefully sentiment will change as we move through the summer. Gla

Rusty - do you mean the gentlemen's agreement for the loan to HHDL. I would not expect any repayment during EWT.

Rusty would be extremely surprised if the bod run the risk of leaving funding till end of EWT at year end ( 210 days). I personally do not believe that cash in bank will be sufficient to get to Dec. But let's wait and review cash in bank based on interims at June end. Ukog generally refinance when they fall below �2m in the bank. I would hope pi's will be provided with regular updates over the summer / autumn on EWT. If there is good news to lift sentiment I would suspect a funding r n s to follow quite quickly. Let's see how it all pans out. How.

Buzz buzz - do you read posts over on advan ? Seems a much more balanced debate over there. Several expressed their surprise that few on here seem to have picked up on the extended EWT phasing on the HHDL website. Of course we got favourite songs over the weekend here though lol. If I read things right there is now 3 phases of EWT totalling potentially 420 days. Think that the blue sky thinkers are going to be diluted by further funding sooner than they think. Interim figures just round the corneri on 30th June . Not long to wait to how cash in bank looks. How.
