Tom, after a profit warning and a trading update that was as clear as mud, I think this is a relief rally that things weren't going to hell in a hand cart.

With EPS below the Divi its a good job they think things will improve. Hopefully the investments will pay off and my divi can "grow" although its pretty high so I dont really expect that too soon. As for the market reaction, its just that. It rose on the big buys last week or so too only to fall back. I suppose the trading update gives a bit more certainty but the joint venture needs to be moving rather than stalled. I suppose it gives the board a bit more time to get a grip of things and for improvements due to the current investment to start to filter in. I look forward to the end of Oct and collecting that divi

Sickness is always staff in confidence and I doubt that the company would say any more without her express permission. In fact I think they would get sued if they did. She could be recuperating from an operation rather than the implied off with stress. Lets just hope she gets better sooner. As for MF's purchase it was done when the price was below 40p if my memory serves so offers scope for a bit of bad news even if its worse than expected. Maybe he would like a lower price!

I remember seeing "heavy's" extorting money from shop holders etc in films often Mafia types. Now they seem to be wearing corporate suits. Unfortunately its my money they are taking and I have done nothing wrong. If there was "wrong doing" deal with the wrong do ers individually and stop taking my money. That could be jail, individual fines or banning traders. ........ or cant these be tried in court cos no laws have been broken?

Like Gerry557 says, the tech is cool. So were Betamax video but VHS won out even though it was a lower standard. Then again VHS taken over by DVD taken over by ....................... You see where Im at. Although this is cool it still needs to take off. The US venture has potential and maybe Russia when tensions eased. Lets see what they can do before the download era begins!

Mr Market welcomes back BLZ. Down initially on the open (what did you expect) Not surer what to do with this puppy now. Its lost its apple claim and its hi tech appeal. Although I need to read the prospectus in a bit more detail. Small caps have fallen back recently not just this. Interest rates, geo-political situation and a number of other worries are at play hence the discount. Once the good fundamentals feed back in things should improve until then it might go even lower

Well I sold some on Friday, nearly 20% profit in a couple of weeks (offsets older losses though) More to do with personal circumstances, de-risking, building pot, eyes on other things etc I still not sure I should just hold out to see if the SP settles a bit lower or choose to move the funds totally elsewhere anyway. Mr Market might make the decision for me. If, as some have speculated things take off it might be seen as a bad move to sell and I will miss that divi. On the other side, if things do go as well as expected I have less to loose and more fire power to add on any weakness. So I well be watching with interest next week to see if I swap my buy n hold into more of a day trader thingy. It would be nice to see some contracts being announced and I wonder if MF fancies a seat on the board and to part with some of his wisdom?

So glad I invested in steady dividend paying shares and not those roller coaster versions where the SP changes by double digit figures every day......... oh wait! On the positive side, a PR company should understand more of what is going on here and they seem to have a good track record so maybe there is some scope for a little optimism. Will it settle a little lower until better news come out but its only a couple of months to the next ex divi date.

Not everything was great but a small rise in the divi is most welcome. debt / pension / exchange rates in the negative boxes but overall ok. Missed some of the questions at the end of the webcast so might have to go back later for a revisit

Could it be a reverse bid from the Chinese which is being leaked somewhere? or just a fund manager buying in after coming back from holiday. (maybe he's avg down!)

Quite a simple one really compared to some and only two questions. One along the line of are you going to do more placings to buy more or do you intend to pay down debt. The answer was quite cagey and not really answered but my feeling is that they would like to buy more. (from memory the last lot was not so successful) Hence a rise in the gearing to 27% (lower than most similar firms) They did mention increasing off shore holdings but found that on shore was being sold more easily. The second question was a clarification on the presentation on pg 6 The BoD warned against expecting the NAV rises of 6% every year as this was a low risk operation. I did like the simple penny explanation. Earnings 11p less divi 6p and deprecation 2p leaves 3p to pay debt and or invest. So all in all "going to plan" and a slightly larger divi of 3.08p on the 29th Aug

If all the big deals were at 10 ish why did the SP spike at a later time? ahha thinks there is something (and has for a while), tom111 wonders about a bid........ strangeish things are happening but to what end I have no idea.

This has dipped below the placing price........ big sells. Like the story but there is something in my gut that I cant put a finger on! Maybe its the sanctions in russia
