Wait a while longer, one day it will get cheaper but could remain hot for a while. I too have been looking to add more but dont wan't to overpay. I keep looking for the dips. Maybe a sell in May event will help. More likely to go up as ISA season opens up. Just biding my time ..... as I have for the last 18 months of so.

Well blow my cotton socks. Some of Mrs G's shares have been transferred out at last. So I wonder how long for the rest of the funds and IT's? Including my own! Well its a start. I also rang the new provider (who answered the phone also HL!) So the service seems just the same for a lot less money. Tick Tock! Tick Tock!

New update! It might take 6 weeks now to move. HL put this down to II. This is probably true but it was more than six weeks ago that I requested the move. Sounds like the move only started "for real" yesterday. So the "great service" that they say merits the extra costs of being with them was not justified on current events. At least I should get those high costs refunded while I wait. Although I was also requested to ask for a refund if I did get charged, that comment doesnt inspire confidence that I will be fee free. Hopefully some of the funds and shares will be moved on a tad quicker.

I would hope that they would continue with an increase in the divi as per past history. Why spoil a nice graph. The were more hopes of a special divi but I think that's gone on recent purchases. I will be following you at 330p

Energy was mentioned a few times on PMQ's today. Both trying to point score. Great the bills are coming down but how long before lack of investment and green issues become more of an issue. Good to see ministers complaining about lack of X yet when in actual power did even less. Make great headlines. At the moment no one. The move has not gone ahead after they apoligised for not actioning and informing me that it was going ahead "that afternoon" I want to move to Iweb (halifax) and Interactive Investor. I can afford to pay HL so much just to have funds sat there. At least its capped at II and you can include that cost as part of your dealing fees so it could be "free" if you make some trades and Mrs G accounts are included in that too. Iweb was a low one off fee (each) so seems even cheaper. HL have changed some of the additional costs, U turned on investment trusts and have been offering to reduce the percentage for some customers but even after this I can save several thousand annually. Even the £25 exit fees for each share, IT and fund would have been clawed back within the first year of savings so it was a no brainer really. It was also well worth a call to the FOS to get the exit fees pulled so even more of my money worked for me now. Even the headline "cheapest costs" on selected wealth 150 funds do pan out as the small saving in the headline rate can be saved by various others with even lower percentage changes in the platform fees. Although the more you have the bigger the saving when its percentage based. I suppose for someone starting out, the larger percentage might not matter too much but it soon starts to mount up. It doesn't take much to move the scales in a different direction. It looks like there are lots of people also doing the same as me regarding the exit fees. See the MSE forum or Monevator. I note the price freeze which is good for consumers (but not necessarily my divi). I see the green levy, a political issue has also undergone changes resulting in a reduction in renewable investment. I'm sure there will be a few happy not to have a few windmills in there back garden but where does that leave us? We need/have to cut carbon emission's but are cutting investment in this area. We will have less capacity but those bills will get a lot cheaper when were sat in the dark, Might have to increase my candles budget So its finding a balance of hitting someone for the investment whilst maintaining the lights on, green way ahead. So far these political interferences seem to be having short term benefits for some and long term issues for everyone else.. I also wonder if the price freeze is intended to take the wind out of some ones sails. Looking forward it should make all the energy companies more efficient overall. It looks like some are moving to other areas where there is a return on capex .

Nice to see alb1on joining in but a note about Cheltenham, last year was poor for LAD. So using averages this one should be better. Looks like your timing was good after all. My thoughts too. On a quick scan looks good as expected. Nothing unusual sticks out and is mostly promising. A bit of negative in the comments regarding inventory and challenges but many a company would love those figures. l love a divi too but will except a standstill to get extra growth and more acquisitions

I think more along the lines of woodchip. Look at the reasons to buy and if it gets cheaper then why not buy more. Of course you have to revisit your reasoning just in case the story has changed or your initial calculations were off. I'm in for the divis, so a drop in the SP allows me to add more and is not a real concern unless there is a fundamental change or its going out of business. Just wait for an improvement and collect the divis along the way. Its time not timing although it nice to be sat in a profit whilst you wait.

3 for 8 @ 56p so does that make it that RSA = 65.8p but capitalised? I suppose if your in, you need to subscribe so you dont loose out. At least it should hit in the next tax year so should aid (N)ISA savers. I suppose the question is have they learnt the lessons of the past or will this be wasted too.

Media suggests that it will be published this week on a deep discount of up to 50%. So is a capitalised RSA worth 70p? I'm not sure I will be temped back but hope it works out for current holders

The on going saga in my transfer away from HL continues. The good news is that after contacting the Financial Ombudsman Service regarding the exit fess, HL have replied with a lot of blah blah .... legal advice, extensive research, relevant legislation, regulatory guidance etc that charges are valid. BUT! In my case as I feel very strongly and HL want to be seen as fair and reasonable I can transfer away for free, saving me a tidy sum. It seems that they will try and make you pay but if you complain you can get out. I have spoken to them to see why I still haven't been transferred and its looks a bit like left hand not knowing what the right hand is doing as it appears the transfer team are waiting for my exit fess to be paid. Just a pity HL were so expensive post the RDR update but at least its good for the SP. With the saving on the exit fees might have to take Mrs G on a holiday!

Things have been bad for LAD and the SP has been hit. I was interested in this because of the divi yield and now after another nail in the coffin after that budget hit, that divi has increased again, whats more its just around the corner. Im not sure if this will be a long term holding or even if I really want to be holding this at all but a big divi next week cant be ignored. Gift horse or trojan! Only time will tell.

I wonder what will happen short term over the Russia aspect especially if sanctions get escalated. I'm not too sure how this could impact CAP. Lots of potential looking forward in other markets and the UBS trial could turn out to be a big thing if the figures add up and gas takes off as expected.

I thought there would be some comments on the 170p offer. Its only a small premium 15% ish but the board have recommended it. I wonder if this will bring out other bidders or why the board think that this is good value. Maybe they know a bit more they don't want to let on but its only two years divi so I'm not too pleased even though its up 10% today.
