I trust David with his broad comments recently and I am sure he made them in good faith. Just be patient boys and girls. I have to say if they win the Oscar on June 30th that would be quite something...and contracts of course.
2 doctor friends have an NHS pension. One has just retired 2 months ago. The other has been paying into her pension for 5 years as documented on her payslip. Te first Dr has not received any payments yet and Capita seem to be clueless on his affairs. The other has been told by the Capita site she has never inputted any money to her pension. Communication by them with Capita has been hopeless. Independently they have a new name for Capita....Crapita. They both feel Capita should have the contract taken off them! Based on customer experience I would not buy Capita!
Techinvest has never mentioned ENET yet. I think most of the newsletters see it as being a bit early in its story with the small orders so far. I would be pleasantly surprised if TI does mention it.
Just to remind ourselves on what this "package" does!
Conventional NICs pass data to the server where it is processed and data is sent out. This results in slow variable throughput; wastes valuable server CPU cycles; has greater power consumption with overall reduced performance and at greater cost. The ENET router on the FPGA SmartNIc allows the data to bypass the server; this frees up the server for other tasks; latency is minimal; needs reduced power and reduces cost. It is the only NIC with a router on it and is fully patented. It can save up to 80% cost in servers required. It has been optimised for telecoms over 17 years.
I hope you are right folks.
I am concerned at the COVID epidemic in India and how that might impact on plans with the Indian partnership, as well as the overall impact on society. My sources within India tell me that things are much worse in India due to suppression of the western media and the intimidation on those who might spell out their concerns. What we are seeing in the Western media is only the tip of the iceberg. Not good for India and not good for the ENET role in India.
108k for me but I hope that the latest fundraise will see us through to profitability!
On Sept 2nd TL you quoted Steve Deng from Techtronics " we are confident that the ACE-NIC 100 will be instrumental in enabling deployment of optimal 5G performance with mass deployment in H2 2021 with Fibrehome....any updates?
Thank you...so it is from the horse's mouth.... I missed that.
Tracy...who is the source of the statement in your 1st paragraph.? Enjoy the weather and the environment. The key statement for the UK is that there is no such thing as bad weather...it is only about not being properly dressed...whatever the weather!
Tracy..in light of your comments I wonder if this has any relevance to your thoughts (From ADVFN) "If you've got a new company that's providing phenomenal radio equipment, that's different from what is in the market today, you can choose to bring in some of that best in class equipment from maybe a non traditional" Koeppe from Verizon re openRAN. Could this be just my dream that he might be referring to ENET!?
Tadders...I got itbfrom SCSW when they did the write up on it. That was confirmed in the Mello presentation last night. The other point is that the way things are progressing they will meet this level in the next 3 months. I like that. My understanding is that the system not only is useful ul in call centres but also for individuals working from home. They are doing a presentation for retail investors on Thursday which may be more informative.
Interesting to see that Katie Potts of Herald IT has a holding in ENET.
Maddog...you should have mentioned that you were reiterating the RNS issued on the 28th January...have people only cottoned on today to that news! The key issue is the Total Annual Contract Value (TACV). They need it to be £9.8m to be cash neutral. On October 31st it was £7.81m and on 31/12/20 it was up to £8.28m -up 16% from previous year. The fact that they have announced 93 new customer contracts (51 last year) all suggests they are getting close to breakeven!
I feel that only the committed and tech savvy would get anything from the Directors Talk comments. His strong accent makes him hard to understand. From a "marketing" context I do not feel his presentation would inspire. My takeaways from his comments were the following comments "we offer unique telecoms features"; he mentions China specifically; they provide a complete solution; he anticipates huge revenue growth. I await specific news.
An amazing RNS this morning with major implications for the water purification side of the business. A complete bonus to the core business. They also bought it for a song when it went into administration.
Rakuten Mobile Japan has announced 4G and moving to 5G at no extra cost using Open Ran, described as a cost disruptor. OpenRan could prove a sure-fire way for mobile operators to cut costs as their investors cry out for growth. (P113 Sunday Telegraph)
Techinvesthas been recommending it as a buy since November 2019 when it was in the 30s. It closes any news input from the Tuesday before publication as as the next edition is due this weekend it will not cover the latest contract. Similarly, it will not include any comment on the latest GHT update.
Dallo....thank you for your kind offer of drinks on you. I accept. Just let me know the location, time and date!
I would just like to explain why I have put this back on the board. I sent my summary to Brian Klaff the Marketing Director of ENET on Sunday and he replied straight away with suggested amendments which I fully appreciate hence this new summary. I certainly feel better informed on it all. We now watch and wait for news. Enjoy the warmth Chessa....is that short for Francesca? It is where I come from. At this time of year we are usually headed to Oz for some warmth so this is not good! HYN all
