I'm expecting a bloody great deal for POLB001 when it is finally announced, they've been looking for a partner all year. If what they have is so ground breaking you'd expect a great partner within 12 months, so that leaves about 2-3 months left.....If still no deal, then maybe POLB001 isn't as attractive to big Pharma as we have been led to believe. But I hope that's not the case and I envisage POLB to be at 50p in Q1, 2024 !!!! That said a deal before Xmas would make a great stocking filler.....

Nice update, lots going on, but I didn't really learn anything new, so that was a bit disappointing. JS unable to say anything about how POLB001 is progressing due to sensitivities, so this could happen next week or in a years time.....arrrghhh, the wait goes on ! That said, I remain very confident this company will eventually go through the roof, just need a lot of patience.

Is this planned ahead as a big RNS is coming out Wednesday morning? Polb001 deal announcement? 😜

Agree Mo needs to do a monthly update report I think . SP rises on good news but then it just falls back down in subsequent weeks/months when we hear nothing ..

I also don’t think any II’s have signed up yet, otherwise we’d see more of a rise than we’ve seen!

I hop Mo gives a more aggressive prediction on revenue for 2024, not just a messily 10% rise on current year predictions…this update should come pretty soon IMO ..

JS has been taking about finding the right deal for POLB001 since February this year .

I think if no deal signed this year then that’s a bit of a red flag. If what Poolbeg have is so great then a deal should 100% be signed this year IMO. I’m hoping they are in final stages of contract but I’m totally guessing that’s the case. I think JS needs to positively update us all very soon ! I believe he will !

Totally agree Thompi, it’s disappointing to hear we have to pay CGT on the lot but not much we can do about that.

I can’t switch the shares to my ISA and my ISA is already full with HVO..

I don’t mind paying the tax if the shares hit 50p !! When that happens I’m retiring 👍🍺

That certainly answers my question! Not the result I was looking for as when we sell we’re paying CGT on the lot , that’s what I feared . My shares are outside my ISA so I’m screwed ! Let’s just hope they go to 50p !!! I remain very optimistic with POLB…

Thanks for pointing out the obvious , I kind of know all that , my point is there was no purchase cost as these shares were given for free as part of the spin off from HVO, so I’m asking what are the rules when shares are given for free ? So if I sell on Monday , the share were free , zero cost of acquisition so my gain is 7p as they cost me zero - is that what you’re saying ? I’m not sure that is correct when shares are given for free. This is what I’m asking for clarification on .

That's correct, AIM shares are subject to tax same as normal shares (unless held in an ISA), but my question is how to we calculate the gain on these shares as we were effectively given them for free - or is the gain just considered anything over the IPO price of 10p ? I'm holding for a few years anyway, was just wondering the tax position when I do actually sell at 74p heheheehh

Does anyone know the situation with CGT on Polb ? If for example the share goes to 20p, is CGT payable on the whole gain of 20p (as we got the shares for free), or is it on 20p less 10p IPO price, so the gain is 10p, or are all the free shares exempt from CGT ?

Nice steady rise today, but with all the buys, i thought the SP would have gone up more than 1.5%..... Lets hope we march on the 30p for Xmas !! That'll be a nice stocking filler !

Do not trust the share trade tab on here, I just bought 48,407 shares and its showing up as a sell, no idea why, but its plain and simple, wrong ! It's a buy !!!

Moni, do you know the requirements for a NASDAQ listing ? Clearly you don't as HVO does not meet the requirements and won't for a considerable time. You need to chill out, this is not a get rich quick scheme, its a 3-5 year hold, then the champers will come out !

Mo said at the last update there would be a new update on FY23 and FY24 in September of this year, so I imagine in about 4 weeks from now. I'm pretty sure he will easily beat the target he set for the year, he always under-promises and over delivers since he took the helm !

The usual Friday sell off for HVO and POLB. Lets hope for some fresh news next week. Surely POLB is getting close to a partnership agreement, and won't be long before Mo updates us on HVO - think he promised September in the last investor update..... Onwards and Upwards !!!
