There may be a 'seed capital' placing now for the diamonds. As AP said, he doesn't want to have another Pickstone situation, where a major asset was sold for a pittance because of an absence of ready cash

Shareholders delegate the company to the Board to manage. If you do not like their deals then fire them, or in Roy's case clip his feathers right down

I've noticed though with other companies that institutions sometimes take a few days to react- probably to do with their internal procedures

All serious companies have headroom to allow the directors space to do deals

Yes, I personally would welcome an institution coming in straightaway for the full £850,000, provided they undertook not to sell the shares for 1 to 2 years, or until the existing projects have reached escape velocity
