Oregon is the craft beer capital of the USA. My area grows more hops than any area on earth. We're also HUGE on vineyards, Pinots in particular. I am surrounded by hops fields and vineyards. There's, no foolin', over 500 wineries in the Willamette Valley.

One of the old posters from back in the blinkx days sent me a 6 pack of craft beer brewed in the UK (it was delicious). The hops were grown 8 miles from my house. Not kidding.

I carefully listened to the call yesterday, replaying parts I didn't hear correctly the first time.

Nothing really new in this call. They stated the same things they've been saying for the past half year or so, but with more conviction. Time will tell.

I'll be impressed if they execute. Until then, it's only talk...and talk is cheap. About 272 pence cheap. I bet you can't even get a pint of beer at your local pub for 272 pence these days due to inflation.

We closed in London at a value of $6.94 per ADS unit.

We're currently trading in the States at around $6.77, with rather wild price fluctuations. The ADS units are very thinly traded, so it doesn't take much to move the price either way.

The ADS units are currently up over 15% in the States.

I slept through the conference call because I found the numbers so depressing late last night, this after waiting anxiously for over a week to see them. I'll listen to the CC on the replay. Whatever it is the market's smoking, perhaps from Sagi as noted below...I want some.

Garbage numbers, lousy outlook, more of the same old blathering crap from management...and the stock moves up. As we say in the States, "go figure".

You can't make this up: About an hour or so ago I was listening to the end of a one-hour news program. The anchor exclaimed 'I can't believe we went an hour without talking about Harry and the Witch'. He then went on to talk about them, saying NOBODY is buying their rubbish story about a 2-hour chase in Manhattan...'it's not possible, it didn't happen, and nobody believes Harry and the Witch's story'. The anchor was based in NYC.

Maybe we are dumb, because the fact is Americans as a whole absolutely LOVE the British. We feel a kindred spirit with our cousins, for better or worse.

We spent years and shed blood to get away from the British Monarchy, now we're so fascinated by it our press won't shut the eph up about it.

Harry and the witch are in our news every ephing day...you can't escape them.

Baldy has a great idea....perhaps...well, maybe not. The Witch would go a long way to getting attention to TRMR if she'd sign a deal with them. But I have a feeling it would backfire, because she is perceived here in a very negative light. We used to love Harry before she ensnarled him in her devious web; he was the one Royal who would let his hair down and have a lot of fun in a "healthy way" (unlike Andrew).
