Reminds me of an op I had years ago - they nicked an artery in my mouth which subsequently burst. Had blood gushing out of my mouth for what seemed like an eternity while they tried to repair it. Lost a lot of blood and nearly bought it. Luckily I was still in the hospital when it went otherwise I wouldn’t be here now. Still gives me nightmares.

The only hope here is the stake they now hold in Kazera IMO. Its already about 50% up from time of the deal and if things go to plan there over next few months then their holding will be worth a lot more.

Arbitration is a contractual mechanism, it can be instigated by one party. It does not have to be agreed by both. It’s not about getting around the table and chatting through a compromise (that’s adjudication).

It is a legally binding process that is led by an expert in the matter to “arbitrate” what the contract says and what needs to be done about it. He will deal in the facts of the contract. There will be a legally binding decision although there may be an appeals process afterwards (that will depend what is in the contract).

Dennis was a lawyer and is very confident it what the contract says (and that Kazera are totally in the right). We await to see if the arbitrator agrees.

Vidaloca, I had a large holding in Tectonic, haven’t sold any but it’s been decimated by the SP falls. I had a lot of faith in Brett at the start, talked a very good game but that faith has all gone now. If the deal he did with Kazera is representative of his negotiating skills then Tectonic shareholders are screwed. Newsflow is also non existent these days outside of results announcements or exceptionals like the Kazera deal.

Fortunately as a result of being in Tectonic I found and loaded up on Kazera. So hopefully overall I’ll do ok. The best hope now for Tectonic is that Kazera SP flies and the 17million shares they hold add value. Outside of that I just don’t see what the strategy is now at Tectonic that’s going to generate money.

Well Dennis was unambiguous in stating that offtake agreement(s) will be signed this year. So he needs to deliver on that.

Can’t answer the why but that was exactly the number of shares held by Pershing Nominees Limited RMCLT (94,250,000) as at 1st November according to Kazera website.

Whatever, the share price is up so far today so the immediate response is positive rather than negative.

As VSA intimated at the time of the trading update, they got the tone of the RNS completely (“horrifically “) wrong and unduly negative - although there were issues with revenue being pushed into 2025 and Zulch going as CEO, they could have presented it much more positively. The SP was mullered far more than it should have been as a result but hopefully today’s further detail can start the long haul back.

There’s a VSA one at 10am on 1st Oct and an Investor Meet Company one at 3pm on 1st which I got sent invites for as I’m registered with both.

Yes that was an interesting bit of news on the lithium licence, which increases the value of the mine. Also interesting that Hebei contacted Kazera to inform them of getting this licence.

They have not apparently contacted Kazera following on from the issue of notice of legal proceedings, which is a bit disappointing but maybe they are leaving it until the last minute. They have until Monday or the 60 day arbitration process will commence. Nothing to stop Hebei coming up with an offer during that period, but the longer they leave it the more difficult it gets for them.

The saving grace for me is that I found Kazera through Tectonic. Kazera is going places and I’m already mitigating my Tectonic loss with my gains there, with plenty more to come IMO.

It’s a real shame Tectonic didn’t live up to its potential. It still might recover some ground but not banking on it and never going to be what I was hoping.

Not a bad call to cut your losses here and put it into Kazera. I’ll see it out to the (hopefully not) bitter end.

Loads of good news for the sector. Won’t move the dial of the SP here until IES actually nail down some orders. Ridiculous how slow they are at getting deals signed up.

According to Monk at VSA the Queensland government in Aus are prepared to throw money at companies to provide Vanadium Flow batteries. How come they aren’t throwing it in Invinity’s direction? What the hell are the sales team there doing? Come on Invinity sort it out.

Monk from their broker VSA on today’s podcast pretty much said the only positive thing about Tectonic is that they have a substantial tax loss (£41m) that they are carrying forward, which could be useful to someone. Not particularly inspiring.

I was taken in by Brett’s talking of a good game, it all seemed very credible and with great potential but it has turned out to be all bllx.

If possible, next time you update could you add the % holding for each? I know it’s simple for us to do but would be nice to have it all together on one concise post. TIA

VSA said a few weeks ago that an Insti was selling down, for reasons best known to them. It was thought to be coming to an end but evidently not yet. Of course it could just be that the lack of orders has caused some investors to lose patience, which I can understand having seen many false dawns.

Patience isn’t always the best policy but the SP of one of my other shares that was getting rather stale and frustrating has just trebled in the last 2 weeks following some positive, albeit expected, news. I live in hope of something similar here - it’s certainly feasible if they get mistral launched and actually get some orders secured.

Well Kazera SP has pretty much trebled since the start of the month so those 27 million shares that Kazera gave/is giving Tectonic for their WHM stake looks a lot more attractive for Tectonic now. Plenty more upside in Kazera to come too.

Kazera have managed to add more value to Tectonic with this deal than Brett has managed in years.

I like this quote in the reply to that tweet. Sorting the Hebei money and getting payment would be huge.

“ As largest shareholder now I repeat that I am going to have this pushed HARD. HARD. Hebei have the money and assets and the case is slam dunk. $10m will be a massive boon to us and I'd like to see a capital return if received.”

By the time the deal is finalised which should take a few weeks, the Kazera SP should be north of 1p. Brett was happy with the deal valuing Kazera shares at 1p when they were actually half that so he is unlikely to back out when they are worth considerably more than that.

I think Tectonic did this for the short term cash injection and because they didn’t have the patience and/or inclination to wait for the SA activities to play out, but whatever the reasons there is no doubt it’s a better deal for Kazera than for Tectonic. Which makes you have concerns about how good they have been/will be in other negotiations.
