Found it LTI. The 33m discrepancy (505-472) is the RNSs for 22/3, 25/3, 27/3 and 9/4 that are missing on this website in the RNS section. Your figure is correct.

Adding up the RNSs, I make it 472m (160m in Mar and 312m in Apr so far) shares bought back this year LTI so far. Not sure where the discrepancy lies. That makes 214m shares additionally listed if the shares in issue total on this website is correct.

I trust you would be saying the same Snige had you received a Special Dividend of 1.6p instead last year but your holding was diluted by 0.8p due to shares allotted for staff ?

Buybacks are going well Cuckoo. About the same number of shares seem to be cancelled every day and for a cheaper price over the last couple of days as Lloyd’s has drifted down a little with the rest of the market.

Have you bought back in since dumping at 61.6p ? Or are you just going to make it up as you go along depending on which way the way the wind is blowing ?

They have to notify every time they go over a whole percentage point upwards i.e. they will have to notify when their next purchase takes them over 18%. Not sure you are quite understanding how disclosure works yet.

The rules for disclosure I believe are notification at 3% and at every percentage point upwards. The number of shares is not relevant.

That is probably the reason no RNS has been forthcoming.

Thomas Cook have said they have been talking to various potential buyers for the whole group and the airline on its own. What exactly do you want them to deny ?

I don’t really see that there are any new developments. They have been talking to interested parties since they put the airline up for sale.

There is nothing new in the weekend newspaper speculation. A week or two back, Virgin and Easyjet were being touted. I doubt the company will pass any comment by way of RNS and don’t think any decision will be made until the winter.

The Telegraph article today suggests any sale is months away. If Fosun is unable to buy the airline due to EU rules, might it be that if the UK leaves the EU in the next few months, we may not be bound by EU red tape, and Fosun could be in a position to buy the whole group ? Just a thought.

I think you guys are being a bit tough on Diane Abbott. She’d make an excellent chancellor - very cost effective.
