I agree in many respects Wids. We have reaped what we sewed in the Western world. We outsourced so many jobs (remember phoning your bank and getting someone in India/Bangladesh answering your call ? ) And now these countries are catching up and have learnt.

It is a gamble. Massive tax cuts etc and taking on the Chinese. I’d rather be aligned with the US though. What’s going on in Hong Kong at the moment is testament to that.

Of course he won’t blame himself Pokerchips. Like him or loathe him and I’m ambivalent towards him, he is trying to reset the global trading platform where China has undoubtedly being abusing the rules. It’s a gamble and he will be victorious or put the world in recession.

The Dow is down 2.75% currently. We are headed for a global recession or this is a blip and and things will get resolved when Trump sorts his trade war with China out.

One thing for sure in my mind is leaving the EU at this moment is the best thing we can do......
