I disagree Bruce. Nothing wrong with buybacks in my opinion. I’ve read the article and and gist of it is that Lloyds have been savvy in stopping the buybacks for now instead of cutting the dividend.

Some on here like Cuckoo wanted bigger dividends instead of buybacks. Well, Lloyds has been vindicated in its actions because to have cut the dividend would have been damaging for the boards policy of sustainable and progressive dividends.

Here’s hoping when PPI is finally buried, the buybacks can resume.
