While I share your frustration over the dividend being withdrawn, do you really think any Bank CEO is in a position to make reassurances to shareholders at present ? No one knows what the economic impact of this virus is going to be yet, so making reassurances would probably be misleading and counter-productive.

I wouldn’t lay this one at Antonio’s feet to be fair to him. The CEOs of the banks are being compelled to keep the economy afloat by maintaining liquidity. I’d be very surprised if he and others will be getting bonuses while this mess plays itself out.

There’s nothing like a couple of kids thinking they’re clever in uncertain and falling markets continually repeating themselves as if they’re some form of market gurus. They should be worried about their parents ability to keep a roof over their heads instead of pointlessly trying to predict the floor of a share price. Trevor and Darth, time you grew up.

Your view is proved wrong already as there are no short positions in Lloyds Bank so no Lloyds shares can be shorted tomorrow as you have predicted.

Short Interest Tracker shows no short position in Lloyds at all. Look for yourself. You really are pretending you know something when you clearly don’t. Stop making a fool of yourself.

Why blame Antonio ? All the banks have obviously had pressure exerted on them and besides AHO was no doubt in for a large dividend himself.
