Not a fan of the Guardian Calisto - too much left wing, woke nonsense for me. I actually read in the Telegraph this morning that the Guardian had written the story about staff bonus reductions.

The Guardian ascribes yesterday’s fall to an internal missive stipulating that staff will take a bonus cut this year. That should please Cuckoo and a couple of others here who don’t believe in profit related pay.

An interest rate cut should be deferred as long as possible but if necessary, is a better course of action that recession. Lots of gloomy news in the papers this morning about global recession. I personally think it’s being overdone.
