Degsy that is how I read this - it is a purchase in an individual name not the company (SoloOil)
Also he would have a 5% stake not a controlling interest. For myself it speaks volumes if people who have many years of experience in the world of oil and gas E&P want to buy in. The alternative is sitting with shares that trade at low volume and that do not have investors (large and small) looking to buy. Just my own take on it.

I know what you mean two steps forwards and one step back. For myself as a rank amateur investor I like to look at the trend rather than the fluctuations. So long as the SP is stable or moving north that is a good thing. Once the RNS is released it should be a different ball game..............GLA

Looks like 10p is the new 7p which was the old 4p as far as the SP is concerned - slow and steady is fine by me.

Tony all I can tell you is that I did a similar thing with two shares that had given at best a lack lustre performance for the previous 24 months - Block has the one thing I am looking for "potential". At least you will not wake up at night clutching the duvet tightly as you suffer pangs of FOMO............LOL

Hi SEA7 - yes I have bought and sold almost everything you could think of in the last 35 years or so including shares at various times. Block are my third shares to double in the past year so not bad - have had my fair share of "turkeys" or what I call lemons - they look quite attractive but leave a bitter taste in the mouth.LOL. I invested quite early on with Block, so I am happy to hold them longer term - they do seem to be following their plan and show great potential.

SEA7 - thank you for your reply - very clear and precise - I trade on a medium to long term so I am not trading on a very regular basis - would like to get into it more but I am self taught which means I am badly taught and my mistakes are costly. Bought my first shares in 1982...................seems a very long time ago.

L2 - I think is level two dealing where you can trade without going through a broker you have direct access and you can trade on other platforms like Forex, and no UK areas.

ADT - I highly value your use of the word "potential" maybe some of us need to take a deep breathe, settle ourselves down and wait for the actual update on the flow rates. Can only speak for myself but at the minute my expectations are rather restrained - I would like to see the double digit barrier jumped over and see a sensible uplift in the SP. As many on here have said this is the AIM so God only knows where we will be tomorrow..........................I have not planned out my retirement party ......................GLA

Agree 100% about holding tight - nearly sold mine twice - shares had a bit of a wobble and I thought about selling up.
At the price they are now at I could never have bought back in at the same level. Hopefully the trend upwards continues and double digits will be seen very soon on the SP. Good luck to everyone and well done to those who kept their nerve through the rocky times.

Pawnsacrafice - I had forgotten that important detail that GOG were to receive the payments in instalments - that would make sense if that is the case and yes they would feel the need to let loose some portion of their shares to level the SP.

Although I have followed the stock closely over the past few months, I am a bit less clued up on GOG and their operations. Will not be jumping to any conclusions at present but I take your point that it is a bit odd with them reducing their holdings at this point in time. Maybe someone on here is better informed and can give some ideas.?

Looks like 6p has become the new 4p for the Block SP - I doubt if this will be the case for long..........I have topped up twice since the initial rise. Have not been tempted to take a quick profit on these - happy to hold them and add on the dip in SP.

Scoredagainsteps & THS123 go wild and buy yourself £ 100 worth of Block Energy Shares then you will not have to suffer the anguish of FOMO.

Likewise Mick, I dipped in again for 77K shares just after 3.00pm this afternoon - Anything below 7p looks cheap and I am happy to pick them up and hold them longer term. There has as, other people said, been a good deal of churning going on with people taking a quick profit and moving on. I could have sold my own holding some time ago when there was a minor dip thankfully I held on and the latest RNS is very encouraging. Compared to my other share holdings, this one stands out from the others..................
