Looks like someone just splashed out 25p on buying three Block shares
Mind you it could be a sign....

If I was in your position Jekyll - I would have sold up and moved on. What exactly is the point of holding any quantity of a stock that you feel nothing but suspicion and negativity about, I don't get it. For me personally the prospects are looking good for Block - okay things might not go exactly to plan - but up to now Block have done nothing more than under-promise and over-perform or am I missing something.?

Yes looks like there is some selling going on - seems to be smaller volume deals
so probably people who just want a quick flip or have no patience.

For Redetin - I am a small scale investor - I have NO pension and I thought (rather stupidly as it turns out) that byinvesting in some larger established company shares I could bolster my retirement by having some form of regular dividend. The facts are that the main company I invested in (CNA) produced NO positive return by way of falling SP. I opted to try and lower my average purchase SP by taking extra shares rather than a cash dividend. Looking at the maths had I taken the dividends (and spent them) I would have been nearly £ 18,000 worse off on selling my shares this week. I opted to take extra shares so I was only £ 10,000 down - its like giving the condemned prisoner the choice of a firing squad or hanging - the end result is the same. What you do is entirely up to you - I am taking what little money I have left and spending it on fast women and slow horses - the rest of it I am going to waste.

Agree 100% it takes time but hopefully we will see the results early next week. Having held my shares for many months and seen the recent increase in the SP and MCap it can be difficult to keep patient and simply wait for things to happen. In case anyone is feeling "twitchy" look at what has happened so far:
- SP has doubled in a short space of time
- MCap has moved up a great deal on initial news of pressure test and flow rate
- Shares are being bought and sold in greater volume and frequency
- BIG players are buying in
- The SP has held up really well even on "No News" days
Confidence is often easier to gain than patience. Have a good weekend everyone.

It would surprise me if the SP hit 10p although I would be highly delighted if it did. I am going to practise what I preach and show some patience. Until the RNS appears showing flow rates and any other "developments" I think the SP will be hovering around mid to upper 8's. I am going to unwind over the weekend and see what emerges on Monday - GLA

Just sold 200K of my Block shares (I still hold almost 1.0 million). Have had a couple of disaster share holdings that left me well and truly in the red so I have had to free up some money. I am still a "strong" holder and am eager to see what transpires over the next few days. It's a cash flow rather than a confidence thing in my case. GLA

Holding Centrica shares in my portfolio. Having held Centrica for many years I have sold my 12,000 shares that I built up over a number of years. I averaged down my person SP to £ 1.91 when it touched £ 1.10 that was my personal cut off point. At the last reckoning I have made a total loss of nearly £ 10,000

DYOR please anything that is said or written on here makes NO impact on the share price or the people in charge. Conn is a total and utter waste of space and the sooner he is pushed out the better. As a side note - I have tried to post on here to share my own views and opinions on holding Centrica shares. Rather than engaging in a constructive dialogue other people on this BB thought the best thing they could do was to criticise my spelling and grammar. Yes - 9p seems to be the resistance point and as you hint at - until there is some news via the much talked about RNS, the price is bobbing up and down but it is stable(ish) and there is a lot of trading both selling and buying which is surely a good thing.? I am holding onto all of my block shares as I feel it might be difficult to re-enter once these start really moving north. GLA

"In the background" - do you think there is a "group" forming who are buying up large share holdings to influence the shape of things to come.? There seems to be a lot of talk on here about Mr Ferguson and his side kicks...........he bought nearly 16 million shares surely there are not that many free floating shares knocking about.

At the risk of exposing my bare backside - can anyone tell me why there are so many "trades" that have been cancelled - they seem to be mostly sells rather than buys?

Buying on the dip - I rather stupidly tied up my "free" cash until after the 10th of May - otherwise I would be adding to my holding as the price goes into a dip. From my own perspective I thought the rise to 10p and up toward 11p was too much, too quick. As a lot of people have said a decent RNS will do wonders for the SP.

Hi Gizzard - I have never held any shares in an ISA before but If I wanted to transfer some is it quite straight forward.?
Anyone here on the BB know a good service to use to do the Bed and ISA move with.? Apologies for my ignorance.

I agree - last year my mate sold his holding in a company (we invested in together,) after 2 months. He took £ 1,200 after fees on a holding of £ 9,000. Mine were held for almost a year, I sold mine with a 78% profit after fees. Nothing wrong with drawing down a profit. Hold, sell or buy more................DYOR.

SEA 7 - I am inclined to agree with you there has been a step change in the work over programme with important milestones being reached and that is reflected in the SP moving up. At present I think 10p is a realistic SP given the current state of play and the eagerly awaited RNS..............
