I just bought another 100,000 shares at 11.20 to top up my holding this is definitely my last addition in advance of updates etc. Obviously it has been a shrinking SP over the last week or so but I am confident in the company and most importantly the BOD. Very happy to add at this price level - GLE

Hi Mike - Only you can decide if you can stand added exposure to another AIM stock. Nothing is 100% a guaranteed dead cert - however BLOE have hit oil and much more than they expected. There was the spike to 17p and now the SP has settled at around 13p the leg move should be after the long expected RNS('s) on production, storage, gas and the work at other drill sites. I can see the SP looking very different before the end of May - not doing a "Mystic Meg" and guessing at the exact mid-term SP but I would like to see it in the range of 25p to 30p maybe even 45p within 6 months.................what do others think is that doable.?

Yes it was a shocker £ 891.00 - pathetic in every which way you look at it. My daughter was looking at buying a property and I held the money in an account to pay her fees and a very hefty deposit. Having freed up the balance I invested here and have not regretted it for a moment. If your friend is happy with 1% interest from a bank I would just leave him to it - some of my friends are so risk averse it's a wonder they can force themselves out of bed LOL..........

Hi Mike - I will not try and persuade you to commit to holding (or selling) your holding - we all have different targets and financial constraints. For myself - I held nearly £ 100K in a bank account for one year - sure it did not drop but what was the upside .? At the end of the year I got my interest all £ 891.00 of it - that is 0.891%. So long as you can enter at a suitable SP and either hold or exit at a higher price.............it puts a positive spin on things. What is going on is unsettling specially if you are looking at a paper loss but once the next news comes out the SP should head North pretty quick IMHO but please DYOR. Oh nearly forgot one more "Thank you" to AJW for the very informative posts.

Sold all of my CNA shares a few months ago when the SP was £ 1.10 glad I did seeing the share price today. From a great company several years ago that was seen as a "safe place" to buy into it has seen a long slow plunge from the dizzy heights of Sept 2017 when they were around £ 4.00 per share. Personally I lost over £ 11k - lots of people on these boards tell you about the profits and how they bough in at the bottom and made a killing - not many display the lemons that lost them lots of money......................................enjoy buying those cheap shares everyone.

I am not sure what most people on here do. I have a nominee account so I can buy on the terms I select - usually I am buying from cash-in-hand so I just settle on T3. On my account I can select on terms up to (I think T25). I do not mess about with paper share certificates either. There should be a good deal of nominee accounts available HL might have their own.

Hi James - Adding on the dips - that is what I have done as I have built up my own holding. There will be short term wobbles and yes some people will take a position where it is in their interest to "bash" or generally raise doubts about the stock. As long as you are looking to hold medium/longer term these should come good before long. Welcome to the block experience...........buckle up this might get bumpy.

I think it was me who said "Please feel free to defend yourself" - I think what you have done is the boxing equivalent of punching below the belt. I have no problems with people taking an opposite position to mine - I do object to being offered insults and snide comments. As far as being "In love with Block" is concerned why did you not just sell all of your holding.?

There are probably a great many people here in a very similar position to you - I am one of them. So long as you can hold your nerve and wait for the next release of progress information you will still have your shares and your investment to carry forward. The MM's will continue to yo-yo the SP to get hold of as many shares as they can. If it is any consolation I too could have taken a healthy profit but I am still here. I get the feeling things will look a lot different before the end of May............in a good way.

Oh you mean the (ex) armed bank robber formerly known as David Hopkins. I read some of his back story - definitely he knows a great deal about shysters......he is quite the expert.

Unless the SP reaches 5p or lower I am not bothered 10p = Double bagger.
Nice to see the de-rampers still have spare time on their hands............

if the SP holds at 13p or above I am sticking. If it dips below 13p I am topping up.

Looks like the MM's will be yo-yoing the SP up and down until they have wrung every penny they can out of this and then let it go on the release of the expected updates. Personally, I thought the SP at 17p was "over-cooked" around the 14p to 16p is okay for me and probably a lot of other LTH's. I have not sold a single share -
I have my plan in place for the next 6 to 12 months and getting rid of any Block shares is not on the agenda..................GLA

Free float - I though the free float was much higher than 6.47% - figures I have seen show total shares in issue 272M - Free float 153M (56.2%) that would leave II's holding the other 43.8%.................can I get a second opinion please.?

Not 100% sure what you can infer from looking at the change in share ownership from 25th of March until the 2nd May (today). Brief summary would be.
1. There are now just over 5 Million more shares in issue than previously
2. Two individuals (Mr Ferguson & Mr Clark) are significant shareholders - previously just Mr Clark
3. There are now roughly 48% of shares held outside of "significant" shareholders, previously the figure was around 32%
4. Institutional holders who have reduced their holdings were GOGC, Bank of New York, HL Nominees.
For me the most striking point is number 3. IIRC there have been explanations for point number 4 here in fairly recent posts connected to the relevant RNS's.

Often seen as a "sign" that an RNS is in the offing. From memory, I am not convinced that this is the case but I stand to be corrected. If the MMs are also aware of this - it could be another one of their cunning ploys to nudge things along. Nice steady rises suit me and a lot of other people just fine and dandy. The SP has come a long way over the past few months. A few people have sold and moved on, that is the way of things but from posts on here the majority look like holding over the longer term - GLE.
