Challenger Energy may have been bold and got lucky, but if past results are to go by they have not discovered enough oil to fill up a Ford Focus. Please don't let greed get the better of you. I still have shares in this company and averaging 24p, but I do not think I will see a return on my investment for one minute. What I will guarantee is that they will have the begging bowl out soon with some more confetti shares being thrown at gullible investors : GG

With no RNS outlining private funding, no mention from the board of directors of who the financial advisors/bank are, and no new contracts or, most importantly, director buys for a considerable time, I am starting to become concerned we are being left seriously behind the pack. I feel it is long overdue for Henrik Wareborn to update the shareholders with an RNS. The share price has tanked recently. I am beginning to fear that expat brat may be the lone voice crying in the wilderness, shouting out the truth whilst all the other shareholders who offer positive messages are fools walking blindly over the cliff. Time for an update! GG

In the latest RNS Statement, Mr Wareborn our CEO stresses the UK government's commitment to SAF and decarbonisation to Net zero. His first sentence which he leaves as the line paragraph in the RNS "Today's news further underpins the investment case for our Altalto reference project in Immingham" smacks a bit of desperation in my opinion and gives further weight that private matched funding may have not been forthcoming to date. I think it's an unnecessary RNS that states the obvious. It does not encourage me as an investor. A detailed RNS in relation to who are our financial advisors and details of the matched funding and future funding projections are well overdue. All in my own opinion. GG

Bhants - That is very helpful and reassuring. I am in here deep tbh. I did very well on Rolls Royce, having kept it for about 18 months through many ups and downs and pumped the profits into CCL. I was concerned over the rinse and repeat that has gone on at such places as Tui and Aston Martin and DID NOT want a repeat of that. Many thanks again. GG

Hi, Im wondering if anyone can help me. I'm a new investor in CCL and I'm wondering has there have been any rights issues or new share issues as a means of tackling the debt since covid? If not, what do fellow investors believe the company policy is to the level of debt now that bookings are near pre-covid capacity and the cruise industry appears to be on recovery? I think the message between the lines here is " we have everything in place, be patient and don't panic ". I will be amazed if they do not have the matched funding. I will be staggered if they don't have all the finances in place. Both our CEO and FCO appear very bullish at the moment. I feel they are holding good very news back. GG

Consolidate the share then throw in a share issue. These are the tactics of low-level AIM companies not one of the largest travel companies in the world. A total disregard for shareholders and in particular small investors. Rinse and repeat. This SP will plummet and a load of institutions will all buy in at the lower price. Shameful board practice. Come on booking in Tui are going through the roof !! Absolutely no need to do it. Good luck everyone. GG

This is the BOLD claim by Philip Sanderson- Chief Financial Officer on the investor page of Velocys Plc new website.
That is a HUGE repeat HUGE statement to make considering the competition. I hope he does not make this statement lightly considering the competition. If Velocys Plc does become the " leading provider " for net negative carbon emissions jet fuel then the current SP is extremely underpriced. As investors we are now looking for some "meat on the bones " and we would welcome a positive RNS about privately matched investment, new contracts and new developments. Before we become the leading provider in this huge industry Velocys plc may want to fix the broken links in the current website! GG

I would rather not share the report, mate, as I don't want to be left hanging legally. Some of the key points in the report appear to have been taken on board, although I have had no contact with anyone from Velocys plc. I will say the commercial teams from our significant competitors far outweigh Velocys plc in quality and number of staff , in our opinion (and the report was written before Andy Bensley was appointed to the board). In a recent trading statement, Henrik did say that they were looking to strengthen significantly in this department which was reassuring. We pointed out that the website, compared to our competitors, was dreadful, clunky and looked old and tired. Again this has been updated. I would not be surprised if RR became a significant player in this industry. Their R&D is huge. All in my own opinion; GG

One of my recommendations to Andy Bensley was dramatically revamping the website. I think I stated it looked like something a first-year computer science graduate had developed in 1994! They just need to get rid of that hideous logo now and start getting them contracts signed with additional airlines and to team up with a major fuel supplier. Website looks great. GG

Expatbrat: I appreciate your comments, as it is always beneficial to hear a negative spin on the company and the SP. Experience has taught me to listen to all sides of the argument. You may be correct in your assumptions that Velocys plc does not have the capability, but I believe that the government has done due diligence; I think that Betchel has done due diligence, as has British Airways and South West Airlines. I agree that commercially Velocys Plc has been slow on the uptake and lacking, but I firmly believe that they are putting together all the pieces, and the current malaise in SP will prove to be temporary. GG.

Amigo going bust reflects the "claim culture" we live in and the lack of financial responsibility. If one borrows money -pay it back, but it doesn't work that way. We have all these unqualified claims companies looking for the subsequent PPI chasing ambulances or whatever they can. I didn't lose on Amigo as I bought on the dips and sold on the rise some time ago but I feel for the shareholders. I was involved in a similar AIM Lifestyle Company and spunked the lot its heartbreaking. The senior management should have all been on salaries of £30000 + Share option bonuses !! GG

I can't believe people on here are still ramping up this company. It's not an exploratory oil company; I've spilt more oil on the forecourt at Esso, filling my car up. To any investors seeing this as a dirt cheap AIM stock do yourself a favour and look elsewhere. You WILL lose your money. Its a lifestyle company which is run by continually issuing new shares. Please don't be like me or any other investor here and I use the term "Investment" very loosely. This is not an oil company , this I is a share to avoid like the plague. All in my own opinion : GG
