Norway's Norges bank have increased their holding. They obviously see significant upside potential. If we can just get back above 700p and stay there, the journey north should resume!

As we sit day after day at 75p, one wonders if the 3 Merger gets sanctioned by the CMA will it have a positive effect on the shareprice? The market has clearly decided that VOD has reached its maximum valuation so I don't think it would create any significant uplift although if it fails, the market will surely punish VOD! This is fast becoming an investment bereft of any imminent upside. Meanwhile, Margherita et al are raking it in! When is enough enough?

Let's hope today's dip doesn't keep on dipping, James! A bit disappointing TBH.

How can a shipyard with the largest dry dock in Europe, acres of space and amazing infrastructure, including the heavy lift iconic cranes, be a basket case? Too much is being made of the financial situation. What's a few million against a potential contract of £700 million. There was ample scope for a plan B but obviously certain parties did not want this. It had/has the potential to be a significant player in ship building once again, given the right backing.

Looks like the Labour government are going to completely destroy H&W as a viable ship building entity. It seems completely perverse when the aim is apparently to build up UK ship building capabilities not reduce it further. At least the Spanish will benefit! You couldn't make it up!

Thanks for the reply Stock. I respect your candour and admire your conviction that PRU will trend rapidly upwards. It's always encouraging to read a positive assessment on prospects when a share is down in value. I also believe the shareprice is too low based on the fundamentals and should continue to recover although it was disappointing seeing it in the low 6s and quite worrying! My average here is under £8 so if you're correct, my portfolio will be improving greatly in the coming weeks and months. 🤞

I'd like a CEO and BOD who stick to their word instead of constantly moving the goalposts. I mean, how can it take a year and a half to sort out a reverse takeover? That's just absurd! I wonder what the real reason for the delay is?

Downs said at the shareholder meeting last week that administrators would determine, once all assets had been realised and creditors reimbursed, if there would be anything left for shareholders. Seems odd that they're now saying nothing for shareholders before the administration process has even started. It stinks!

Seems to me, Downs has created a crisis of his own making in his rush to disenfranchise H&W shareholders. Shareholders could and should be part of any rescue package, I mean all the preparation was going ahead in Belfast to deliver the FSS contract in full. Also, refusing the loan guarantee must now be seen for what it was, a huge mistake. They could've insisted that JW leaving and dropping the Scilly Isle ferry nonsense was a prerequisite for the loan guarantee. There was no need to throw the baby out with the bath water. Madness!

AAL and other US airlines are hugely up (over 7%) yet IAG seemingly stuck at £2.09. I think it's being held back. Could break out at any moment though!
