It clearly isn't working so I think her tenure should come to an end. She's had long enough!

It's like being in purgatory holding shares in this poorly performing company. I'm seriously thinking of divesting and trying something else. VOD is clearly going nowhere for the foreseeable future unless someone can point to any near term optimism that might put this into recovery mode or does it all rest on the precarious 3 deal?

China has gone for a big economic stimulus. Hopefully the PRU SP will now start to head rapidly northwards on the back of this.

IAG can emulate RR. It's got many less shares in issue and is a money machine when firing on all cylinders, which in all likelihood it already is. I have a feeling that the Lebanon, Gaza crisis and the Ukraine situations will improve soon. I believe that recent military escalations in both arenas are preludes to serious diplomatic negotiations to achieve cease fires. If this happens then the oil price drops further, confidence returns and IAG soars!

The behaviour towards shareholders from this company's BOD is really quite despicable but then again guys like Jonathan Rowland are only out for themselves. This whole reverse take over plan has probably been BS all along. I'm expecting this to be delisted and to lose my entire investment. Meanwhile, Rowland will no doubt be laughing all the way to the bank some how or other.

It's looking more likely to go back to the 60s the way it's dropping today of all days, mesh i.e. post interest rate reduction stateside, which is worrying. RR up a further 5% today and others handsomely up too. In fact VOD is the only share in my portfolio going down. I don't have RR BTW, more's the pity! VOD would try the patience of a saint, unless you're daniel of course. The BOD are doing a terrible job for shareholders!

Like today, for example, it's disappointing that the general market is steaming ahead, yet VOD is down. That 80p is not going to come easily!

Looks like PRU is attempting a recovery at long last. The reduction in interest rates in the US and subsequently in Hong Kong are obviously having a positive effect on the SP. Long may it continue. 🤞

Don't like video games, daniel and yes, I change my view depending on how I perceive the situation. ATM, with interest rates coming down and the 3 merger looking likely, there's room for optimism but if the SP continues to stagnate or go into reverse, I reserve the right to change my view. You, on the other hand seems to just have blind faith that all will be well in the end. It's always good to be critical in case selling up becomes the best option.

But Powell still manages to put the US markets into reverse with his post cut decision ramblings. The guy's a tool!

Also, with the fed having just done a 0.5 % cut, the debt burden becomes less onerous, which in itself could be a catalyst for a significant rise.

That's a bit of a negative view, daniel. This could return to £ plus territory if results are better in Germany and we get the the 3 deal approved. It came down quickly enough so can go back up at a fair clip. It's all about sentiment and future prospects.

I sold RR at £2.54 and bought, wait for it, VOD! I don't want think about how much that cost me but let's put it this way, I'll now not be retiring! A painful experience but I guess no-one really knows where a shareprice will end up.
