I notice the brokers haven't given any updates post results that I'm aware of. I think their collective credibility is on the line with this awful situation so maybe they are reluctant to make further fools of themselves. How can they all be so wrong?!

I sold most of my holding already avocet but have kept some just in case there's a miracle! Thanks for your concern though and BTW, why don't you sell? In fact if everyone had sold they'd be better off! Mesh, as Germany is VOD's largest market, underperformance there has a disproportionate effect on sentiment as can be seen by today's shareprice fall. With the German economy in big trouble is there a realistic chance that VOD can turn things around there in the short term? I'm doubtful.

Unfortunately as Germany is VOD's biggest market the shareprice has taken a hit. Back to the inevitable 60s! It's definitely time for Margherita to go. She's hopeless and has completely failed shareholders.

Loan demand in China, lower than expected so the Hang Seng bombs along with Pru. No doubt we'll get further SP erosion today probably back towards 600p. It's just endless bad news here. I wonder what the bulls on here are thinking now. I'd love to hear their case for future gains from the midst of this Chinese economic crisis. It's looking bleak if you ask me.

I may be splitting hairs, IAG but I always thought it was slightly less emphatic than a buy.

We make more profit than RR and have fewer shares, yet the shareprice is half! I guess we're paying the price for the "risk" attached to airlines.

The negative trend continues unabated. It looks like the CCP is not willing to do whatever it takes to turn its economy around. It's just a pity that Pru are being dragged into the morass of China's poor macro economic prospects. Recovery here is sadly seemingly still a long way off.

Looking forward to some broker upgrades next week. They came thick and fast for RR on its ascent! I sold them way too early and was always nervous to buy back in as I felt they couldn't go much higher! I sold at £2.54. I don't want to make the same mistake here.
