I see she provoked the wrath of Trump, first time round, when she closed US factories to outsource manufacturing abroad. I think Margherita could benefit from a kick up the proverbial too!

As the FTSE soars, this dog barely moves. Do we all agree now that Margherita and her team are sub par? What's the point in holding here if the "good" news yesterday on the 3 merger has had no effect? Maybe results are going to be grim.

Thanks for the positive comments on Pru's p, Finley. I have read Anil's confident predictions for hitting 2027 growth targets and they are definitely encouraging but the relentless shareprice underperformance is very hard to take. Nevertheless, knowing what we know it is as you say a good investment. Let's hope the market starts to agree and soon!

I just hope results are good James. Anything other than that and I fear Pru will be punished by Mr. Market who has already taken the SP down to a ridiculously low level. I hope, however, that LTHs here finally get something to cheer about post results and a return to a reasonable SP. £8 would do for starters!

Judging by the poor shareprice action it's not looking overly promising for good results. So much for the views of some on here who were predicting a recovery to begin last Friday or by the latest, yesterday pm. The shareprice is nailed to the floor, a bit like VOD but unlike VOD, PRU at least has fantastical broker forecasts to provide a little bit of hope. 🤞 The UK stock market generally, continues to underperform no doubt helped along by Labour's economic innumeracy! Maybe Britain has finally become a basket case.

More sells than buys this morning. Could the €11 billion investment and customer pricing guarantee commitments be putting investors off? Maybe this merger is a double edged sword, which would be a kick in the teeth for LTHs, having waited so long for this deal to go through!

I know robleo! I see though this morning that the CMA have made it known that they may be persuaded to allow the 3 merger to go ahead due to commitments by VOD/3 on investment in networks and customer protection, hence the slight SP rise. I hope there's more to come. Maybe see 80p this week!

Wouldn't it be nice if the shareprice guessing game involved highly probable shareprice increase suggestions instead of the inevitable low ball targets. The BOD have completely failed to excite the market on VOD's prospects, hence the stagnant shareprice, which in my view is justification for a change at the top. Margherita has repeatedly failed shareholders over an extended period and should be held to account. I think it's time for her to go for the good of the company and all its stakeholders.

Just bought back in this morning on the back of a good EOY report. Sales are finally a reality and placing a generator into Saudi Arabia through TAMGO is definitely a significant milestone. Let's hope it leads to many more orders from there. The Speedy tie up also seems to be bearing fruit and with the ammonia cracker potential, at last things are starting to get interesting. No mention of ABB so looks like it's a non runner but supplying a 200kw unit into a quarry is very interesting. Could AFC be about to finally come good? 🤞

Aviation is on a sustained upward trajectory. More people, not less, will be flying in the future unless governments kill it by placing environmental restrictions onto airlines and there's no sign of that yet, at least not in a significant way.
