Good article, Trojan, thanks for posting. I added a few based on that. It does make a lot of sense and highlights how much undervalued the SP currently is. Air travel and foreign holidays are now almost an essential staple for a large percentage of the population who remember only too well what it was like during COVID with the near travel ban. I believe fear of a similar event in the future is spurring punters on to maximise current travel opportunities!

It makes my decision not to sell before the dreaded 10p dilution even more painful. This is just dead money barring a miracle. Meanwhile, Adam Bond is enjoying his substantial financial rewards, which he earned off the backs of misled shareholders, living it up in Oz! This company just exists as a vehicle to enrich the directors. Wilson's lack of sympathy for shareholders, as stated in the recent presentation, that were screwed over by Bond, was telling. They should at least inform us who our new S&P partner is FFS and give us a bit of hope.

I'm sure you're correct, Carrington but the market seems to find a way of being negative more often than not at least in my experience. Also, it's unfortunate that the results come on the day of more tariffs from Trump on Canada and others being implemented. Nevertheless, the confirmation that everything is on track should be a major positive and hopefully assuage previous doubting investors. Good luck all holders 🍀🙏🤞

And me but I see operating profit slightly lower at £620 to £650 million as opposed to projected £650 to £690 million die to a stronger dollar. Hope the market doesn't focus on that otherwise they appear to be excellent but I don't trust this market to reward the SP. Hopefully we get a boost. 🤞

Read my history from way back, Ade when the odious Jimmynan (where is the ramping Bond sycophant?) used to acuse me of not holding. I sold all my holding at around 76p but bought a chunk back in the 60s selling for a loss at various points, so gave some profit back. I've been in and out a few times since, regrettably. It's been a hard road, especially with a lying CEO giving us false hope. I hope the new guy is at least honest. Shareholders have been lied to long enough here!

Hopefully they can address any accounting anomalies tomorrow, Grezz, to maybe undo the damage from the full results for 2025 in March. I don't confess to understand the accounting stuff but it sounds resolvable and if so maybe we'll see £6 plus. Looks like folks are selling off this pm fearing the old adage of "buy the rumour, sell the news," coming true tomorrow am. Hope not. I held Intel through results last week, big mistake! I buy, jest, when I see it showing signs of life as I keep an eye on it and I was encouraged by the recent results and rumours that the German business could be on the turn and of course the SP was heading towards 90p! Logic dictates that at some point it will recover but with the Goldman Sachs of this world constantly putting the boot in, Vod always seems to get dragged back down. I was hoping for some upgrades based on the recent favourable results! It's very disappointing and it feels like the "big players" don't want it to succeed. How can Deutsche bank see at as a buy and £1.40 yet Goldman say it's a sell and 75p! I just got annoyed this am when I saw the hit job from Goldman's and the SP responding in the desired fashion. PIs are just pawns in the game and stand little chance of winning when GS et al set the agenda. I mean with it's huge revenue stream and decent profit is it really only worth 75p?

Looks like folks have given up here judging by the lack of posts. Wonder if johnboy is still bullish what with his 1.7 million plus shares. Wow! That's confidence for you. He must be the largest shareholder. I've just got 25000. Used to have 10 times that but luckily managed to sell most of that at various stages for good profit as the hype induced mega rise was in full swing in 2019/20. Unfortunately I bought back in albeit to a lesser degree. Can history repeat itself? I guess that's what we're all hoping for. 🤞

They have to deliver this time or it's curtains. You can't keep going to the market for funding if all credibility is lost. ATM it's still possible for AFC to convince key investors that it's still commercially viable with its upgraded products portfolio, particularly the cracker, finally showing promise. If the S&P 500 company is serious, unlike ABB, then we might be in luck, which is something AFC shareholders have had very little of, unless of course if you include bad luck. I nearly sold these before the dreaded RNS for a decent profit but now down 22% so am annoyed that I allowed AFC to kick me in the nuts for the 3rd or 4th time! Anyway, let's hope there really is a suite of viable products this time and that ammonia as a hydrogen carrier, becomes part of the energy mix of the not too distant future. If it does work out we could all do very well. I guess that's why we stick around. 🤞

Yes, avocet, very tired. I've just sold out I believe for the 4 or 5th time here. It's just such a frustrating company to own and TBH I feel that it should be much higher but it's never given any chance by the market and brokers. Good luck to those still invested. Who knows I may be back if the narrative changes!
