Once the advantages of alkaline fuel cells over PEM fuel cells become well known i.e. much less platinum and tolerance of lower grade hydrogen sourced by cracking ammonia contributing to a much cheaper product, then AFC should be the supplier of choice for data centres, EV charging units etc. Somebody once said AFC had blue sky potential. Maybe we're about to climb through the clouds!

Looking at Plug, Fcel and Ballard, all closed significantly up tonight stateside. AFC closed at a dollar on the OTC. All this gives me the feeling that investors are returning to the sector with Tradegate expressing this change of sentiment by rising into the close. Hopefully we'll have a good day tomorrow.

Maybe sentiment towards green stocks is about to change more positive. Morgan Stanley think so. Could be good timing for the investor day. AFC on the up soon.

Yes It does. It's a bit annoying watching them tank as it inevitably negatively affects overall sentiment for green stocks such as AFC. ITM lost more than us today after a good RNS. I guess the difference with AFC is that it hasn't even begun to reach for its potential unlike PLUG and FCEL both of which are coming off multi billion dollar valuations. Also AFC's low cost design and tolerance to cheaper hydrogen cracked from ammonia should make profitability a more realistic prospect unlike the others mentioned.

Very possible Daz but maybe there's time for another RNS before they hit the market to prevent that happening. I've a feeling orders are close otherwise why do the fund raise now. They must need capital to ramp up production and not just for Acciona and Juhlich!

If it weren't for the constant price drops of NASDAQ listed hydrogen fuel cell companies I think we would be much higher. Just unlucky that our rise to prominence is being held back by a loss of sentiment towards the sector in the US. Hopefully it'll turn around soon and we'll finally begin our long overdue re-rate.

Looks like patience is going to pay off here. Testing is clearly going to be required globally for years so the potential for contracts remains huge. With our quality gold standard testing products I think it's inevitable that GDR will have a significant role to play in the overall Covid testing landscape. This is shaping up to be a potentially £500m company in the very near future.

Bullard and Magnion wouldn't have bought if they weren't assured of a handsome return. Rennocks has done well from his £10000 investment at 10p so more director buys augurs well for £1 plus in the very near future.

The expanding market for PEM fuel cells will be limited by the availability of platinum. Not so much for AFC. Another massive advantage over peer companies, which will eventually reap huge rewards.

And don't forget AFC's lower cost model compared to PEM fuel cells. Profits should be easier and quicker to attain than some of our peers.

Hydrogen shares are under pressure in the US market at the moment which inevitably affects companies like AFC in the UK. If this news had arrived a few months ago the SP would've taken off. It still might as sentiment towards hydrogen fuel cell companies could become bullish again anytime. The green agenda is here to stay so AFC are well placed to take advantage of this. Longterm it could be a lucrative investment. I added more this morning so it will probably go down now!

It didn't take Gary Bullard long to get in on the act. He obviously likes what he sees. His and Joseph Mangion's subscription for shares speaks volumes. This is the start of AFC's ascent to ITM level MC.

Mace say they'll be using AFC fuel cells in 2022. I wonder is this delay down to AFC having to supply ABB with EV chargers sooner than that causing Mace to have to wait their turn for initial deployment. Just a thought but ABB did expect to deploy in 2021 so maybe that's nailed on already. There has to be news breaking soon on a purely commercial contract, given all the recent partnership announcements.

The language is certainly bullish pertaining to commercialisation and revenue build up. Must be a positive and bodes well for May 5th.
