That was refreshingly and charmingly naive for a first post and did make me chuckle. Do you honestly believe that there is anyone on this forum that is not self serving? It just a case that there are a few, a very few, who have moments of being transparent about that. You have much to learn beyond the project I think if you want to continue here.

Yes the Glik, an LTH (or is it mostly his clients?) in for the long haul - serving this collective sentence almost as long as myself. But for you if you are contemplating 2024 to hold to I doubt you'll be seeing anything on the ground that can be ascribed (the already ironically hackneyed 'WS > beyond' populist dog whistle ramping tag). I will be very pleased if they have got 10mt+ out by then by stickin' to their knittin'............and also pleased with the 3fig sp that I have great (self serving?) settled certainty will be going with that.

The 'analyst' holds SO4 and compares the 2 cos' prospects ahsi. Disclosure I too held SO4 until quite rescently, it has had a good run. Sold, proceeds in here.

Hi Cran.

Assuming all goes well Gina will be taking some 200m shares for $50m in a week or so. Equates to an sp of ~20.5p. FMU Sirius are to compensate Gina if the sp is below this level at that time. From that I've concluded there is a real (not an accounting expediency) derivitive in place to cover the potential cost of this compensation to Sirius. That derivtive would have to be a short position.

The co...Is who, with an "embedded derivative" in both cases..and in what form would an embedded derivative be structured in the market so Sirius know their future billsregardless of the sp ? Would that be via a............short position on their own shares?.............and who would Sirius get to place such a short position for them? Re it starts heading down this Q? I would be surprised. Rick's fine chaps submission to the NPA last March had a fair few bits to do after this present dig reaches 'shaft base' (83m AOD, 120m bgl) and then before the SBR can get lowered in. See sec 3.2.2 of the 'HYDROGEOLOGICAL RISK ASSESSMENT (NYMNPA 45 & 46 – PHASE 10)'

"...Stage 4; This excavation and temporary lining sequence will be carried out, as detailed for Stage 1 to place the final segmental ring at around 83.17 m AOD. Beneath this ring will be cast a concrete base slab to provide protection prior to secondary lining.

Stage 5 Secondary Lining; On completion of shaft excavation and installation of the segmental temporary liner, a permanent cast insitu hydrostatic liner will be installed from the bottom....[maybe via the SBR platform, but:]

Following completion of permanent shaft lining to 83.17 m AOD, the sub cellar will be reinstated to enable the headframe chamber floor to be constructed up to the shaft and the floor slab piling completed."

Would this not be required for winder support? Tempory winder elsewhere?

This share price (and Mcap) is pure sentiment driven at present, with very little concern from the market for what the future may hold with valuations for this project which is many years down the line yet. Sentiment today here is driven by the stark present situation and the precipitate sp decline of late. That sort of shock after shock will take some time to be forgiven. But I expect it will..in time.

So on the assumption these initial bonds go as presently planned I'm not expecting the rises some here imagine in anything like short order. Little more than a relief rally to pre bond pulling pricing then retrenching around that level for quite some time. Those hoping for multi bags by end Sept I fear will be disappointed.

AISI the real gains here will be given to the patient who are prepared to stick with this into the project's 5mt product delivery. Some 3-4 years hence. A long view - nine years here I have a long view. Many bagswill come with that. Not so I believe for short term stags.

See what transpires. Watch the bond yields.

For this first part of the service shaft the temporary diameter is 8.2m:

"3.1.1.2 Use of a temporary concrete liner In order to prevent groundwater ingress from the sides of the excavation and for safety reasons, the sides of excavation will be covered with a temporary concrete liner as excavation progresses. The inside diameter of the temporary liner will be 8.2m to allow a secondary, more permanent, liner to be placed post completion. The outside diameter will be 8.7m and the excavation size will be as close to this as possible (<50mm anulus)."

Yes I thought of trying that method....until I realised they were using a fisheye lens on this camera. These lens's image scales are always radialy nonlinear (eg like Google Streetview shots) and there is severe image scale distortion as you move towards the edge of the shot. This gives the apparent size of the lowest tear ring being some 40% larger than the one above. But from simple trig it is not possible that that ring is that ratio nearer if we assume the camera is at the centre of the shaft (3.875m) from the wall!!

So I went back to keeping it simple. The vent pipe is strapped every 5 segments and there are nine lengths between the straps. covers 45 of the segments, 5 more fully visible below, a 6th part visible. With the wall ~4m away from the camera and the lens fisheye there would be at most 2 more rings below to get to eye level horizontal with the height of the camera. That camera can be assumed to be 2m above te shaft floor.

Total rings comes to 54 in that analysis.....and everyone has now nodded off. Unsurprising, in depth analysis IS usually dull.................but here very necessary at times.
