Yes, Different type of mining , watched it go from a flooded pit to fully operational mine. The point was that Ormonde hit financing problems and got nailed by a bad geological decision..... dug in the wrong place after years of testing. They had done deals for financing , became a minority holder and either had to find 10 Million to overcome issues or bail out, which they did for 6 million. I'm hoping RMM don't end up having the same problems
Impressed with your knowledge of mining ,I always thought open cast was cheaper to operate

Thanks for the comments , BOO up 114% and MNZS 45% since I invested, as previously mentioned I am not a fan of consolidations , but everyone entitled to their opinions. Will watch RMM and maybe come back. Copper price no guarantee of rocketing share price, Antofagasta down from highs of £19.......invested there too.

Just my opinion, previous consolidations I’ve been involved in never turned out well. Obviously my choice to sell as have many others at this point, a 3 to 1 ratio at present
If the share price remains stable I will probably buy back in, my choice, my loss /gain will be the difference in selling / buying price plus fees. Sarcasm is deemed the lowest form of wit, so there are a few witless wonders on here.......lol.

So which part is S@@@, that RMM is a good company or the share price will have to go immediately go to 40p at today’s price to break even. Never seen a consolidation do that , share price usually increases but not enough to cover the reduction in share holding. My opinion, if I’m wrong, so be it, my loss, but when you don’t agree with an opinion, state which part , why and be civil. Good luck to all those that remain invested

have been involved in consolidations before, always seems to be the value of the share never increases enough to cover the reduction in share volume. It can take years to happen,, Vane Minerals never recovered, SAGA took over a year to recover . RMM appears to be a good company , but I’m selling up , might come back when consolidation and price settle. Just my opinion, not a recommendation to sell or buy

Just had a notice sent that RMM consolidation will be 1 new share for every 100 held, Is this correct . Proposal takes place tomorrow

I discovered. MATD a bit late and bought in at 3.7p, but up over 100%.......long may it continue.Just wish I had dumped my BOO shares and invested the lot here......never mind, hindsight and all that

Towncaledmalice, apologies to everyone for chatting about MNZS on the BOO chat, just wish I had the foresight to take all of my investment out of BOO and buy into Menzies. 45% up isn’t too bad since last November. My average for BOO is £1.57 so shouldn’t complain, but could have now bought back in and pocketed some cash from profits. Never said I was good at investments ..lol

Lol........PP1 constantly insists that if you hold the shares for eternity you will be hugely profitable and he’s probably right. Meanwhile investing elsewhere will bring better returns.

I’ve been lucky, bought in last Nov at 1.12 then sold up at 1.42 took the profit as Covid made things look bleak. Bought back in at an average of 2.18 and currently sitting 45% up..... just wish I had the bottle to hold initially. This is a good company , airports are still handling cargo and they have cut costs and won several contracts. Hoping it will get to £4 once passenger service resumes later this year . Fingers and toes crossed

Got to agree that there are better investments out there, Boo has done well for me but has stagnated in the last year. The stock is not liked by the markets despite its continued profits. I’ve slowly reduced my investment and invested in Menzies and Petro Matad. Might increase my investment if the price keeps dropping.

Got to agree , this share had so much potential when mining for Tungsten, but BOD made crap decisions and are self centred..... Will fritter away any spare cash and no upside in view. Deals could have been done but they seem to want to keep the cash for themselves.

Having been with ORM since the beginning of the Tungsten project at Barruecopardo , I witnessed many changes in fortune .Going from a flooded mine to one ready production . During that time one fact has remained the same , the Gold licences that ORM have will never be mined. The board had to sell their share of the Tungsten mine as they couldn’t afford any more development costs after mining in the wrong area .They consistently have under delivered, made promises and gradually will spend the £6 million on nothing but themselves . I gave up my shares for a loss and that was at 2.8 p.....the price now rises and falls on pure speculation.

Holding a share for 5 years is no guarantee to riches, I have been in Boo since 2016 and the days of 30-50p a share, so I have made good . But have also suffered with the plunges in value that seem to come every time good news is predicted. Having experienced this, I reduced my holding and invested in the like Menzies and Stagecoach .They have provided a better return than Boo in the short term.
Having experienced other companies re rating , share buy backs etc, there is no way to say what Boo will be worth in 5 Years. My opinion is it will rise significantly but there may be better value elsewhere meantime. GLA to all investors

As a person who was involved with the original flotation I’m glad that I have managed to average my holdings down to 22.5p. Early today I would have been delighted to sell for 24-26p but was unable to get a quote until the price had dropped to 18.5p. Now considering selling the portion of my investment that was sub 18.5 for small profit. ..... Or do I hope for a recovery next year?
