Somany, AGAIN you are inflating the numbers grossly.
Of those in age bracket to get vaccine it was around or over 90% had it when I last looked month or so ago. Then if you take those that can't have it etc then there clearly is NOT large numbers not getting vaccine for reasons outside can't or antivax idiots. Single digit (low single digit percentage).

Q4 first 4 of 13 weeks updated.
I can only assume it takes a little time for exact numbers to filter through so box office adjusts a little.
Now we have:
Week 1 73.48%
Week 2 72.58%
Week 3 72.06%
Week 4 74.59%

Second half of month the $ values have fallen a fair bit (lower quality product released).
However this mirrors 2019 and as a result we see steady performance as percentage.

This is a dramatic improvement from previous quarters of the year.
We are as yet not doing enough, though we are FAR FAR closer. (I say we are not doing enough as - Mooky himself stated during Cineplex case these sort of levels mean that merger does NOT work. Cine board targeted c. 90% by end this year in last financial reports and well we clearly need to be near/at, or beyond 2019 levels to make for a growth company considering additional debts even with whatever cost savings come in at and current higher concessions sales).

Personal review as we close out first month of quarter would be: Excellent progress made from previous quarters. More work yet required. Encouraging!!

I need a licence to drive my car. I need a passport for foreign travel. If I need a passport to enter busy indoor places I see absolutely ZERO issue in that.

Please, let's not overstate these numbers. It is small VERY small percentage of population in that bracket.
I would have thought it not too difficult in those minimal cases that a form of "exemption certificate" could be issued.
The vast majority can not be constantly hit for the tiny minority.

Harry Potter was very busy last night and it is really not a discussion point anymore regards UK attendance. It is clear (from widespread posters experiences here and more importantly from the industry recorded box office numbers).
UK cinema is back strong. People are (mostly) social creatures and anyone that has been a few times to cinema or other entertainment can see very clearly the relief and joy in vast numbers to be able to leave their solitary prisons.
May take a few months more but certainly building back in USA too.
2022 H1 will be interesting marketI think.

Even at its maximum benefit of £12/13m it's not even a decimal of a percentage point against the companies net debt of over £3000m.

I repeat I welcome it however much it is.
It will NOT make any significant change to company financials or share price on its own however.

As I said from start every but helps, if it's per premises then that's better than per business.
At an absolute maximum of c. £12/13m I still stand by observation that as welcome as it is it is not a hugely material matter for the business and it's finances.

I will take it though, even if I am not celebrating like I won the euromillions :-)
