This is not a mining play but investment in a chemical company .All going very well, Pilot plant and now own lab.Cost savings and great results galore.

Only a fool would assume that a share /cash T/O would not create some volatility and the rats would appear in order to scavenge. I think that the assumption that it is solely CNR investors whining may be a bit off the mark. We are now seeing traders (whether they be CNR or not) looking to enter at a lower price. Some of the tell tale signs are their desperate attempts to spin the negative. For instance La India taking a while to produce assumes that MTL is a one trick pony. It is not and with Runr, due to be extended and Abra being proved up MTL is far from one trick .The timelines given by DB (for which he is historically conservative) would anywhere else be considered brilliant especially with the added fact that the development costs are all from FCF ,so I watch with amusement the D+P crew, and should this drop to anywhere near my target I will be hoovering as well. Made me smile earlier when a couple of you were describing the Equity Swap as "unhedged",I thought to myself well "unhedged" is infinitely more preferable to the normal on here i.e. "unhinged"....!

But infinitely better than the thought of any of them pro creating and leaving a DNA trail !

I'm certainly not looking to restoke the fire here, but as an MTL holder I am of course pleased to see how quickly we have got to grips with La India but if I were a CNR holder I would be a bit miffed (understatement) that MTL seem with consummate ease to have "grasped the nettle". Amazing what a bit of money and someone who knows what he is doing (and surrounds himself with a good team) can make.

Without knowing for sure, the equity swap seems to be a reasonably quiet and gentle way of a third party picking up "stray" shares without spiking the market too much. Anglo will already have preferred partners for later events and a huge price spike wouldn't be their preference. But the Equity Swap will (if it hoovers up the loose change) stifle traders as there will be less volatility (Remember who dislikes traders...!). For small caps these things are unusual and whoever is on the other end of the strategy has an insight of where this is likely to go, because as it says in the copied reply to me from a certain unnamed Equity Swap company "Yes it is unusual but small caps can be an important part of your overall portfolio potentially offering huge returns for the right choice"

In itself this ES is just another chess move, but with LMLs now landing, parasites checkmated and more news hopefully on the horizon it's really not surprising that some eyebrows are being raised and wallets being readied.

And as usual all calculations NPV/LOM/IRR/Annual production and grades( which are all way above the previous calculations) will be "Bowdenistic" i.e extremely conservative in order to do his now customary " under promise and over deliver" .With Abra and Runr,mark 2 to follow it might be an interesting year or two !

The trouble with that sentiment Angry B is when you say "either side" there are more than 2 sides. 1. Pro MTL and it's future 2. Genuinely anti MTL and it's strategy and then there is the parasitic 3rd side who would try and influence a bb and holders to sell in order for them to try and benefit. No big deal really as these boards are infested with them, but exist they do and somehow they sleep at night !

Infill/Belt and braces/mine plan, whatever it is and call it what you want but it's the minimum that a competent mining team would do for their shareholders and their own assurances. The FUD merchants are not overjoyed this hasn't dropped like a stone before tomorrow and I have a sneaky little feeling that any good news tomorrow won't fill them with joy either. Shame !

Hi Lantier, it won't paste onto here so put it in some troll free groups and on X/Tw. It's not huge but could be an anonymous nibble and there are so many options of who would/could want to start taking a position (if that's what it is) in Bots or Zam that we will just have to wait and see.
