Why on earth would the Zambian minister of mines meet up with "little old" Arc minerals ?? And Arc then tweet it is " the first of a series of meetings with government officials" ?. Perhaps I have my "rose tinted" on again,but the answer doesn't seem complicated or indeed difficult !

totally agree ronnie-and my guess is he' s not alone ....! When invested and supportive of a company it is far too easy just to see things through "rose tinted glasses", but with all of the statements within that CC-I defy any "sane" person to come up with a negative take. Legals sorted,then CC and an immediate visit to Zambia for said meetings isn't without purpose.

Nice summation Turtle,and to add weight to those observations (facts) Nick is now in Zambia talking to Govt.officials- probably not chatting about his pet goldfish . And plan B is talk to the other interested bodies(s) , plan C is drill ourselves and prove up further,but all that is going to probably do is increase the price to majors at a later date. "BUT EVENTS MAY OVERTAKE US" was key for me.

The other boards that she inhabits mostly think she is OK and has insight (I wonder where she gets that from? Maybe she "gets" it from a little Birdie?). Yes ronnie,and add to that NvS is in Zambia now "for meetings with government officials"-there's not really a lot left to the imagination. My thoughts are that a deal has been penned (for 1 or 2 of the areas) already. Several RNSs inward !!

And as David Wood once commented "nature doesn't suddenly stop it's flow of materials" i.e. if you can see indications before and beyond then there's a good chance it continues in between- And back to the main story-12 hours until market opens -it will be an interesting time !!!!!!!

If and hopefully when we get the deal(s) signed,this will be big news for the new HH Zambian Govt. It will be in all the Zam papers highlighting investment and job creation. We might make the odd mining journal/site as well :-))

There will be cautious money" waiting in the wings " for the announcement that the legals are made official,and I see that as the next trigger point, the Aero survey revealing any new targets may also have a decent effect. I don't imagine for a minute that Nick will be on his own talking to govt.officials-the deal partner(s) could well be with him.Interesting times !

Strange time to release an update interview though !

I think we are further advanced than that F79 and this weekend's trip to Zambia to meet govt.officials is evidence of that.The survey details are known and my guess would be that the legal settlement was urged by the "partner(s)" because they quickly want to get on with it.The deal(s) will already be agreed in principle "proposed transaction tabled" from yesterday -really looking forward to the next couple of weeks
