China are dependent on imports to try and maintain their growth curve.They have been trying to talk down raw material prices for well over 6 months.Now that JPM have taken on Tsingshan,there will be others quite willing to take on any further Chinese shorts and they will just have to get used to paying market rates for their imports. Must be quite a shock for Beijing not to be in control !

O+W -I also try and dig deep into a company for any negatives before I invest,but your comment it's all "Speculation supposition and conjecture" merely describes ,to varying degrees,share investment. If someone invests now,they obviously are trying to buy before any good news-probably a much less risky overall venture than when I bought in years ago. I was gambling and having looked at the "assets" and personnel it was pure speculation and supposition-that's just what FTSE and AIM share investment is all about in varying degrees. "Fake trading" implies a falshood and if the news is good it will have been a well timed and calculated buy. It's 6 of one and half a dozen etc.But not fake.

apro-how can something be deemed "market sensitive" if it wasn't agreed ? Until it is deemed acceptable and is agreed by the BoD it cannot in any way be "market sensitive". A full takeover proposition would need to be notified but asset propositions happen every day all over the market,and iare not notifiable.
