I'd liked too have heard how deep the intercepts of massive sulphides were but it's a beauty to behold.

Sounds like Fwiji was a challenge until fourth hole intercepts but bodes well they have a better idea of the stratigraphy and mineralisation there now.

Shame were not in commercial transaction discussions with a load of majors about our assets at the same time as hitting the massive sulphides..........oh, hang on. We are!

On 14th they were at 701 and at last RNS at 821 so at that drilling rate, subject to the hard rock playing ball, we should be at target 1km depth today/tomorrow .
It will be interesting to know how much deeper it may have extended and if it did how far before the technical still limit, or if it was still being intercepted.
May get a completions, target a update RNS and mobilising to target B between now and Thurs.

The fact they have found something where the model thought they would and that arget b is such a high reading is indeed something exciting. As it's what they have found this far.

It's also exciting that both he Proterozoic and karoo both seem to have potential.

If I'm understanding you correctly you're saying that the two drill holes so far indicates an ore body somewhere potentially between the two holes. Likely closer to the first hole?
I suppose the previous surveys may not have identified this bigger or body as it potentially sits deeper than they survey as we now believe its deep in the Proterozoic?

Am is interpretation broadly right. Or way off (albeit as you say a jigsaw without all the pieces)

As for JV, sale etc I'm hoping this ends up playing out as the voisey bay did...

Definitely is a strong term. I'd personally say no not definitely we don't know anything.
However I think ....
1. if they intended to drill a further hole they would likely have included it in today's update when detailing the agreement with the driller to go to max tech depth.
2. I know Ben is super keen to get to the most prospective hole ASAP.

I believe they would have decided by now if a second hole is required/beneficial at this stage. They have gained a lot of geological info from this deeper drill and will likely want to get the testing done and assessed before determining where and what more to drill at this site.

So on the above reasoning I'm in the they will move onto target B as planned camp.

On 14th they were at 701 now at 821 so drilling rate of approx 40m per day (ish) therefore assuming they work weekends and given the max technical limit of 1000m I expect they will be finished by Tues or weds latest.
It will be interesting to know how far this extends and if it ends after or before the technical limit.
Assuming in either event they will proceed to target B with this rig (highest magnetic anomoly) they will probably start to mobilise to that site from Thurs for set up.

@821 metres...

So far the Company has encountered 170m of continuous Proterozoic mafic/ultramafic rocks. Kavango's senior field geologists have continued to make visual inspection of the core and have reported visible alteration and interstitial blebs of chalcopyrite in different sections of the hole. The lithologies range from coarse grained to extremely pegmatitic, the latter logged in zones that extend 20-30m in thickness.

Sounds positive to me but bring on testing and this b drill site
